Taking a Cycle Off After M/C?

Hi ladies!
So I'm thinking/hoping that AF is coming soon after my chemical pregnancy since my bb's are suddenly really sore and kind of burning so now I have a question. Did you wait a cycle to TTC or did you continue on? I realize my cycles might be messed up afterwards, but they were regular after my first one so I'm hoping they will be this time as well. My doctor said he usually advises having one "normal" period before trying again, but he said I was so early in the pregnancy that there shouldn't be any reason not to, except possibly psychological ones (stress). What are your experiences with this?

I did not have a chemical so I can only speak from my experience. I was very glad we took a couple cycles off which turned into 6

. But for my sanity I think I am in a better place now then I was right afterwards. You have to do what is right for you and your family. I hope that whatever you decide you get a sticky bean very soon.

I am planning to take 1 cycle off, just to get my body regulated. I think it is a very personal decision, but I just didn't want to m/c again and blame it on not waiting for my body to be ready, I knew I would beat myself up about that if it happened so soon again. It is hard to wait though, I feel like I am wasting a perfectly good egg

We did not wait... my first loss was Nov.. 11 I had a cycle In Dec than got my BFP Jan 2... Didn't wait that cycle m/c... D/C on the Feb 6th.... Started TTC right away... it took 7 cycles to get my Next BFP... Aug 26th... Went on to M/C that one also... We are back on ttc... I'll let you know how that works for me...

But it is a personal choice. I am 34... My son will be 19 Nov 13th... I don't want to wait.. and I know If I choose to wait.. I would always think in the back of mind.. what if this was the month for my sticky... and I blew it... What if.. would drive me in sane..

We didn't wait...we didn't get a BFP either...but I wanted to jump back into TTC...I personally think it helped me to start trying again...to look to the future, kwim? *hugs* to you and I hope you get your BFP soon.

With my last chemical we started ttc again right away. With this one it depends on whether I wind up needing a D&C and how long it actually takes me to actually m/c. I haven't decided yet what I am going to do yet.
