Today I'm getting an ultrasound to check my lining and for cysts. Since my m/c in june, my periods have been really weird. I spot on and off for weeks. My MD decided she wanted to take a look. Anyone else have this done?

is it a full bladder?? I get an u/s on cd3 and then again on cd9 & cd11. when I went for my investigative cycle they also did an u/s on cd21 (it was a 3d u/s) I guess that's when they checked the lining and other stuff. Good luck...hopefully everything is okay or at least you'll get some answers.

I had this done kind of. I was having lots of abnormal spotting that wasn't cervix related. They did an Ultra Sound to see what they could find. For me they found a polyp. They removed it in August 09. It was after our m/c. I had never had anything like this before.

I had the u/s. I went with a full bladder only to have them ask me to empty it so they could do an internal instead. I didn't get to see the doctor, and all the tech said was that I had lots of follicles on both ovaries, none of them dominant. I really don't know what that means in the scheme of things. I was cd 7. The tech told me i could expect my results sometime next week... thats kind of obnoxious. Anyone know what they are supposed to see on cd 7?

Well Folies are the eggs maturing to be released during Ovulation. You will have a dominant Folie release the egg. So I would think her see folies.. wpuld be a good thing.. I don't know at CD7 what exactly they are supposed to see... Maybe someone else who has had it done could shine a better light on it for you...
