Hi everyone,

Had our 12 week scan today and I can honestly say I was so nervous! But we got great news!

The baby is measuring right on track, 11 w 6d, which is why I think I am having a boy as it measures spot on from when I o. Due 28th April 2010. The baby was moving his legs and arms all the time but loves to be snuggled in the corner. The lady was trying to get the baby to move around my womb but he wasn't having any of it. Dh joked that we have a disobedient child already He kept kicking off though and he even waved at us So cute! I could have sat and watched him all day.

We got to hear the hb - 166bpm which she said was perfect. Judging by my bood test results and scan I am really low risk for trisomy 21, 13 or 18 so everthing is looking great.

DH and I just can't keep the smiles off our faces! We have heaps of pictures. I put some on the fridge so I can look at them all the time I literally cried all the way home with pure joy. I feel so lucky and blessed as I never thought DH and I would be lucky enough to experience this moment.

The u/s lady said it is such a slim chance of anything happening from this point so if we want to tell people we can. We are telling our grandparents and close friends over the weekend and probably work next week.

To all those ladies still trying please do not give up hope, there were times I never thought it would happen for us but look at us now! I know we have a long way to go but it couldn't be going better.

I guess it is time I graduated over to the PAL thread but I will constantly check up on all of you and offer support and advice whenever I can. I will never be able to truly leave you all. And I will definitely still be around on Friday night chats.

Thanks to you all for your support and advice for all the months/years we have been ttc, words cannot express how grateful I am. I will still be here for all of you until you graduate just like me

Aw, I don't even really know you, but I am so happy for you and your husband, I started tearing up reading your post and my DH got worried LOL! I am so glad everything looked good on U/S and your baby is healthy. So is it a confirmed boy? You gave me hope also, as I am currently beginning my cycle after my second chemical pregnancy. Continue to update us on how you and baby bean are doing, ok? and Congratulations again!
