Pyridium and Pregnancy tests

So I either have a drug resitant UTI or I have a yeast infection. But, either way, I am taking pyridium to numb the pain until I can go to the doctor's again tomorrow.It is a prescription version. It turns my pee bright orangey yellow! Do you think that that will mess up a pregnancy test?

When I got my BFP in Jan... that was the first time I had ever had a yeast infection.... Maybe a good sign!!

I've read that some pain medications can effect results on a pregnancy test, it even says it in the FR little paper they put in the box with it. Weird I know!

Erica, I have no idea. But they say that "most" pain killers will not affect the results. Maybe put a call into your dr. and ask? Or call the FRER 1-800 number and ask them?

exactly, that is something that stuck out to me because I have to take pain meds on a daily basis.

Those urinary tract analgesics are AWESOME when you are in that aweful pain from a UTI!!!

Wanna know something that is funny? I thought I had a UTI just before I found out I was pg in July!!! Maybe this is a sign of SOMEthing?
