Okay, filling in the details nicely so you all who haven't been following or might not keep my facts straight have it all in one place.

Oct 2 - BFP on HPT
Oct 6 - Blood test confirms pg hcg level 15
Oct 8 - hcg level 18
Oct 9 - some spotting starts
Oct 10 - hcg level still at 18 light to medium flow
Oct 11 - light flow tapers to spotting by evening
Oct 12 - hcg 20 spotting
Oct 13 to 16 - spotting
Oct 16 - hcg level 12
Oct 17 some spotting, but very very little
today no spotting no bleeding

Okay there is the bleeding/spotting/hcg info. Well I have been temping again since Monday and have been watching my chart and my temps dropping and dropping. If I didn't know what was going on with me my chart would look like any other chart that I had. With today's temp curiosity got the best of me because I swear I just looked like I was gearing up to O so I took an OPK and an HPT at the same time. I took the HPT to make sure the OPK wasn't showing positive from HCG being in my system.

Okay back up a little I took OPKs when I was testing out the hcg as well. The OPKs were stark white for the first week until my levels hit 18 to 20 range and then I finally did get some faint lines on the OPKs, but they were way lighter than the HPTs at that point and when the hcg dropped the OPKs went back to stark white so I am sure that if it was hcg making my OPKs change then the HPTs would be considerably darker than the OPKs. Anyhow on to the next thing, picture of my OPK.

Now tell me does that OPK look like someone who is gearing up to O or am I crazy? I have read a few sources say you can O with low levels of hcg in your system. I am soooo confused! Do you think that even with the light spotting and light bleeding that could be all there is for m/c? I am ready to pull my hair out. I am now afraid to bd because what if I AM Oing again and I still have hcg in my system. I mean what if I did and got pregnant and my hcg just never dropped. I wouldn't want doctors wanting to do a D&C because my levels started rising.

Then at the same time WHAT IF I AM ABOUT TO O???? Man, I really just want to do it! I mean that would be the most awesome thing if I could just be in the 2ww in a couple days. Arrrggggg I am going out to buy some digi OPKs later today to add some more insanity into my life. Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

I really don't know what to say. It certainly does look like you are gearing up to O. I hope you figure things out soon. You've certainly been on quite the roller coaster lately.

It does look like a + OPK to me. It's certainly possible to O quickly after a m/c - that's how many women get pg right away.

Teresa, I'm going to throw some things out there for ya to chew on

I ovulated RIGHT AFTER my first loss this summer and GOT PG again! So yes it is possible to ovulate with a trace amount of hcg, but it usually only happens after you zero out or after a couple of cycles. So I was told by my Drs. that I was a medical anomoly.

I did have a doctor make a horrible mistake causing me to lose a new pregnancy, a new life... making my baby grow wings right after I had just had a loss naturally. It's been very difficult to deal with.

My best suggestion is... Tell your doctor that you're trying and that you're getting ready to ovulate. So, if you want to go for it, GO FOR IT! If you're ready emotionally and physically, and no medical reason you should wait then the decision is up to you n DH.

I really don't think you should expect a whole lot more bleeding... like super heavy bleeding or large clots and fleshy tissue. What you've had is probably all you're going to have, perhaps it might come back and spot. The earlier it is, the less severe it is if that makes sense (altho' I don't think everyone is the same KWIM?)

GOOD LUCK Teresa! I hope that you can make your decision easily and that it is all for the best KUP!

Glad to know I am not crazy. Going to see what tomorrow's OPKs bring.

This should be interesting. I am thinking of actually trying. Feeling so indecisive at the moment. It kind of is freaking me out the idea of being able to be pregnant again in a matter of days.

Yep, that makes perfect sense. It's only been weird for me because this has been lighter than a normal period verses heavier. I have had 2 losses before one at 7 1/2 weeks and one within a few days of getting a positive HPT so I thought I had some experience on what to expect. This is just so weird to me. I am going to the store in a little bit to get some digital OPKs.

I just want to say that my cycles and body has been so different since my loss so I have learned to accept that things are just different and anything can happen. I have heard of quite a few girls get pregnant right away due to o'ing sooner than they thought they would.

Looks like you are going to O for sure. Good luck catching that eggie. Just heed Celena's advise and knowing what you know don't let any doctors talk you into doing a d&c if your levels should go up again. It's a hard choice, because you don't want to lose that opportunity and they do say that you are very fertile right after a m/c. I know plenty of ladies who got pregnant before their first AF showed up.

Teresa, I had my m/c on 10/5 (my levels were under 5 by 10/9) and just on 10/17 I had a positive OPK! So yes you could def be ovulating!!
