So with this whole TTCMA business and of course paying attention to my IPS/EPS in the past 8 months since the m/c, I have discovered something interesting. It's the progestrone hormone that is being produced as soon as you get pregnant that makes you so extremely tired, not the amount of hcg. I injected the hcg trigger shot 2 days ago and have felt absolutely fine (I poas to make sure the trigger worked and it was a BFP) I've had tons of energy up until about 5 minutes ago. It's the same kind of feeling when I take the progesterone supplements, extreme fatigue. So I guess the more progesterone you produce in the early weeks of pregnancy, the more tired you are. That is my theory.
Oh and I started cramping also. I take that as a good sign.

Tell me about it! I took progesterone supplements last cycle after O until 12dpo and I felt completely preggers. I knew it was the supplement though, but yes progesterone is responsible for fatique and sore/tender breasts. HCG really does not play into much, until week 6 or so then it accounts for the m/s. Hope this is your cycle Trish, taking the cramping as a good sign.

I guess that explains why I can never stay up past 10, and feel tired in the mornings.

It's very interesting to hear the happenings with y'all during each different supplement... FF sometimes has little info tidbits like that each time you log in.

Anything else you've noticed?

I'm curious!

I remember learning about this one in nursing school. Progesterone has a general slowing down effect on the whole body.
