Hey girls...sorry it took so long to update here is my baby's first picture it's nothing much, but it's my little June Bug.
He says that I am measuring about 6 wks 3 days give or take 4 days (so right on track) The ultra sound machine at the Fertility clinic is not very technical, so he couldn't tell me how many beats per minute the heart beat was beating, but he showed us the little flash on the monitor that showed our little June Bugs Heart Beat. I was so excited I almost cried...it was so nice to see an actual beat, and to see that it was so weird, cause it was just a little flicker on the screen, but it was there...good and strong and easy to find. He did verify that there is just one June Bug in there, which is a relief, as much as I want twins, I think it would be a better venture the second time around.
Anyway, thanks so much girls...I am sorry I have been a total basket case. I am feeling a lot better. My dr. reminded me once we see the heart beat that the chance of miscarriage is down to 5%, and since I have not had any spotting, that I really should relax and try to enjoy my pregnancy, which I really am going to try to do.
I have an appointment with my OB on November the 4th, I'm sure she will want to do all the fun tests again. (I wonder if she will want to do STD tests again?) I will be around 9 wks at that point. I am hesitant if I will let her try to look for the heart beat at that point, because if she doesn't find it, I'm going to be very scared. (last time she couldn't find the heart beat, and then shortly after that I miscarried.) I figured I should see a regular OB since my fertility dr. can't see me again till the 3rd of December, and by then I will be almost in my second trimester, so probably should get some of the regular stuff done first. I then go back to the fertility Dr. on the 3rd of December for another ultrasound...and then from there, it should be smooth sailing.
Thanks again girls!!!
