Hello, I'm Brooke. After my loss in June I was a mess and I felt like I NEEDED to start to TTC again right away, so I came and introduced myself here. We did TTC that first month after, but then I started to cope with my loss a little better and that urgent need to TTC again right away lessened up a bit. In August, we decided that we would go on vacation to Disney World in October, so I decided that we should wait to TTC again until after our vacation. I wanted to wait because I wanted to be able to ride the rides, and honestly I was scared that I would have another miscarriage while on vacation with my family and I really didn't want to risk that happening.
We returned from our vacation on Friday, and now we are TTC again! I am excited, anxious and scared. I want another baby more than anything, but I'm so scared that I will miscarry again. I don't think that I will have any trouble getting pregnant because both times I conceived it didn't take long at all. I am scared that I will miscarry again. Because I have no answers for why my last loss happened, I'm very afraid that it will happen again and that I will never have another baby. I know that I can't have another baby again without even trying, so I'm trying and hoping for the best. I know when I see that next BFP I'm going to be terrified... I'm not sure if or when I will be able to be excited/happy about it.
So, that's my story.. I will be sticking around this time, hopefully not for TOO long! I can't wait to get to know all the ladies here in the meantime!

Krystal, it's great to know that you all know how I'm feeling - even though I wish none of us had to know..
As far as where I am in my cycle, I don't really know! I'm not a charter. We've just always "gone with the flow" when TTC. I did buy some OPKs back in August so I might try them out this time around.
Here's the info I can give, maybe someone can help me out with where I am in my cycle! Please?
September 16th AF started
October 17th AF started again
I didn't really pay much attention to when AF stopped, but I'm thinking it was the 21st (don't even really know if that matters!).
Does this mean I have a 30-31 day cycle? When should I be Oing? When should I start using the OPKs?

I would start using them today (If you have enough) You "Should" O around CD 14-16 (Around the 2nd of Nov.. give or take a few days) So that means you should get a + OPK around CD12-14....
Hope that makes scense!!

I have PLENTY! What you said makes sense to me (I think ). I'm looking around on fertilityfriend.com right now and it says that I should be fertile on October 29, 30, and 31 and possible ovulation day is Nov 1. What does the white circle/black circle on the calendar mean?
Looks like we'll be cutting it close this cycle! DH is leaving to go out of town very early in the morning on the 1st of November to go to California, DD and I are leaving to New Orleans on the 2nd and DH and I won't be back home in Georgia together until the 8th! Maybe if we DTD on all three possible fertile nights we'll get lucky!
I'm gonna go try and OPK now and see what it says.

That's actually just the moon phase...black = new, white = full. I use FF and I love it. And charting gives you great insight into your cycle. And even if you don't temp, I suggest at least logging your AF days into FF so you can track the length of your cycles. Charting you OPKs will also give you your likely O day as well.
I say go for it! The days leading up to Oing are very fertile especially the day before. So you two better get busy!!!

I thought maybe it had something to do with the moon! FF is kind of confusing me. I'm trying to make a ticker, but it's telling me that I need to update my chart...?
The OPK that I just did was negative. The site where I bought the tests from, early-pregnancy-tests.com, says that I should start using the tests on CD 14 or 15, and I think I'm on CD 11 right now. I think testing earlier might give me better insight into my cycle. I'll keep testing every day up until I (hopefully) get a positive OPK.
I feel like a science experiment!

I start early with my OPKs because I've learned over the last 7 months I've Od anywhere from cd12 - cd 15 and I don't want to miss it! And I test several times a day because you can miss the surge if it only lasts a few hours (which mine has before). I went through the tutorial when I first started using FF...it took a while to read everything but it really helped me. It is a little confusing...I definitely had to play around with it a bit.

Krystal, it looks like we had the same wedding dress! Here's the best picture I can find of mine. You can't really see too much of the dress, but can you tell if it's the same as yours?

I got mine at David's Bridal. It had the red band around the bottom too and red corset lacing up the back.

Yep, same dress! I looooooved my dress! I just showed it to DD the other day for the first time and she loved it, too. She wanted me to put it on, but my wedding was nearly 4 years and 25 pounds ago...
