Hi ladies! As y'all might know, last cycle ended up with my second chemical pregnancy unfortunately and my OB was nice enough to draw labs for me even though I only had 2 when most of the time they wait for 3. I am homozygous for a MTHFR mutation, which is a clotting disorder, and can cause multiple misscarriages. Anyways, I had a call into my OB last Thursday after researching this on-line and I finally got to talk to someone today. A different OB was in the office, and he said that this is a "gray area" when I asked about being on aspirin and/or lovenox and he is referring me to a perinatologist! Woohoo! There is only one in Fresno, unfortunately, but they're going to get me an appointment, and I can discuss it with her. I'm going to take low-dose aspirin in the meantime, even though he said he wasn't sure about my needing it while TTC, only that it would be a good idea when pregnant. So yay for something getting done...or at least in the process of being accomplished!!!
