Another newbie question..

Fertility Friend is showing me that the three days prior to ovulation are fertile days. Are these days all equally fertile? To me it seems like the day before ovulation would be more fertile than the day three days before. Am I right?

DH is leaving town early in the morning the day before I'm supposed to O, so we most likely won't DTD that day. Will my chances be much lower since we'll only DTD on the second, third and fourth days before I O?

Two days before O is really good! You've got a really good chance here, not the other way around by a long shot! Remeber spermies live on average 48-72hrs, some even longer. So you hit the prime oportunity!

DH left at 4:00 this morning and now I'm staring at my FF calendar that is showing today to be a fertile day and I don't want to miss it! I think I'm becoming obsessed and this is only cycle one TTC...

Oh the first cycle is the worst.... I think I obsessed more on Cycle one.. And when AF showed for me... I was devasted.. it got better after that first cycle.. You have such high hopes.. that you will get the BFP on the first cycle. I hope you are the one to get you BFP on the first cycle! HUGS

Thanks, Kary! With DD we got pregnant on our first cycle (no charting or anything, though). With my loss, we got pregnant on cycle number two (also without charting). I'm hoping that this charting and OPK testing and really paying attention to my cycle will help us conceive quickly again! If AF shows in a couple weeks I'm sure I'll be totally bummed!

It seems like it's not hard for me to get pregnant, I'm just scared that I won't be able to stay pregnant.
