A good friend of mine since I was 18yr old killed himself thursday, he was put on some new anti-depressants and had a severe psychotic reaction... he's NOT that kind of person. Seriously, I've known him for a VERY LONG time! It is very devastating, not taking it well... I've numbed myself tonight, there's not much more that I can take. He's been there for me for many years and in the last few we've not been close enough and now this. It hurts.

Celena, this is just horrible. May God bless his family and you tonight. Certainly, this is so very tragic. I pray the family looks into his medical practioner and gets some answers for closure. Im so sorry for your loss.

I dreamnt about him all last night, some were nightmares... it's one of those life things that are hard to deal with, but we'll get thru. Man, it's just not real.
I'm not sure if I will be in the PL chat tonight. It's still very early so who knows!

HUGS! A suicide is so hard to understand.. I had a friend killmiself a few years back.. No one could understand why he would do such a thing.. he had everything going for him.. He was a great Paramedic, and new father (issues with his ex) But was at dinner that night talking about his new little girl. Got into a fight with the little girls mom that night.. and in the Parkinglot of the Ambulance squad shot himself. His friends had to work on him. It was so hard for the EMS community ... Their will never be answers... You will never have closure... it is one of the worst things family and friends can go through... HUGS

I'm so sorry Celena. Truly. I'm sad to say I understand completely. My cousin (who was pretty much a big brother to me growing up) killed himself in August. He was married with a 3 year old and was battling bipolar disease and trying out different meds. I understand people have problems, they deal with things that most don't know about or understand, but it's still so awful for those they leave behind. I still have a hard time with it...some days it just seems unreal...I still dream about him several times a week. I know how rough this is and will continue to be for you (and his family) and I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
