My SIL who did the IVF and had a BFP unfortunately had a chemical. Her bt levels were only at 10. She is A- and would normally get the Rogham injection. Do any of you know if you need to get it even with a chemical pregnancy???

I know she should if it was a "Miscarriage"

I would have her call the Dr.. I know thier is a lady on here who is Preg now... and her Dr said she should have had the shot after her Miscarriage.. and it could of now endanger her Pregnancy now.

If it was me I would be on the phone. Just in case
I am so sorry for her loss.. HUGS

the answer is no she does not need one if it was a chemical. I have negative blood too and have had the rhogam shot after every one of my miscarriages, but when i had the chemical, she told me that there was no way there could have been any blood exchange with it being that early. it's a group of cells at conception, there isn't yet the development of a fetus with blood.

Lynda I do remember the Dr. at the ER telling me that it was vitally important to know my Rh factor while miscarrying...

I think Lynda gave you your answer Trish, I'm sorry to hear about your SIL
