Can everyone please take a look at my chart????
WTH? CROSS HAIRS?? All I did is put in my temp this morning... And Crosshairs BEFORE I got a + OPK????
Has anyone seen this??? I didn't change anything (except) (put that one temp as fever, since I never go that high, and I was really sick)....
Here is that chart... I am going to take the fever away and I know it will change.. But let me just try....
UPDATE: OK It changed it when I took away Fever.... Do you think this is why they didn't see any Follies on the scan since it might of been 24-48 hours prevous??

Yeah, it looks like it may have given you crosshairs a little early. But its hard to tell with your temps. I would go with your OPK's on this one. I'd say you O'd maybe on CD 11.

I would override with OPKs....for me FF is usually accurate but last month I had problems and had to override. Out of curiosity...what happens if you put negative OPK in before your + ones? I always put in negative OPKs because then it "should" take into account you had negative...unlike just leaving it blank (which could have been a positive you didn't chart). Does that make sense? Also, if you change the setting from Advanced to OPK or FAM or Research...does that make a difference? I would just be slightly wary of your temps considering you've been sick...maybe not the best indicator this month.

OK so all I did was take the fever away.. and I have crosshairs now on Sat the 11th..... That makes more scence.... But I never get Cross hairs this early.... It usually takes days of putting in Temps....

I think it looks accurate now Kary. I don't know the answer about the follies, but I hope and pray you did ovulate!

I too think you just happened to O before your fever! Regardless of when, I hope you caught it! Hugs!

Kary, just a thought........but maybe because you were sick with fever at the same time you got your surge, the fever may of supressed your O? They say sickness can supress your o. But for not seeing any follies on the scan, that I just cant understand. Because if you did o previous to the u/s, they should of seen the follie sac/cycst that the egg came from. They can always determine which side the egg was released from on the u/s. Thats the part that confuses me......
Im so sorry your up in the air this month, I would be totally frustrated as well...Just praying that your miracle happens.....it will be a great ending!

Lori the PA showed me Follies I had about 3-4 on each ovary.. her exact words were "None that will be Ovulating in the next 24 hours, She than said You might have Ovulated, early I can't tell for sure, I hope you have had intercourse over the weekend."
Not that I am getting my hopes up... I really feel the PA is only good for Paps... She is the one who said my blood came back normal.. than yesterday when I mentioned about the MTHFR mutation she asked if I had one copy or two... and when I said two.. she said yes you need to stay on the aspirin... I wanted to scream.. DID YOU LOOK AT MY BLOODWORK?? AND TELL ME IS WAS ALL NORM??? GRRrrrrrrRRRRRrrr

My chart put the crosshairs BEFORE my + OPK this month, so yes I've seen that before too... if I used advanced or research it both puts it before my +opk. No sense I tell ya!

OHHHHHHHH, so maybe she did see some sort of cycst/sac left behind from ovulating already.......OR.....you might of been ready to ovulate within 48-72hrs from that scan. That is the worst explanation I have ever heard a PA give for examining follicels. She should of told you the sizes of the one's that she saw and a size of the one she thought maybe already released an egg. What she said to you is just.......out there!
Kary, call your RE and have him go over the report with you. There should of been a report with actual sizes of the follies seen and any possiblity's of follies that released already.....if your follies were 14-16mm than you would of o'd in about 48-72 hrs. A mature follie is 18mm to 25mm, under 18 to 15 is sometimes considered acceptable. Under 15 would still be maturing.
And I really dont get why they did not run blood work to see what your LH and E2 levels were, that explains more than the u/s.......
Was your positive opk after the u/s or before?

My Positive OPK was Friday night/Sat Morning.. (Negative by Sat night) The scan was done on Monday at 1115am... How long does the Cyst stay for?
Were I had my scan was just at my OB's office.. I didn't go to the RE since I couldn't afford it this month/and with my work schedule.. I couldn't get in for the scans. So I called my OB.. to do the FSH/Hormone Bloodwork. They don't do the follow up blood work like the RE would do.

Well when I was mc'ing our first this summer they saw a small cyst on my ovary and coincidently that became my 2nd pregnancy... the time frame was like a week! IDK for sure.

The cycst become the corpus letual cycst (msp) that stays throughout the early party of pregnancy if you conceive. If you dont conceive, it starts to disinigrate around the time your af is due (about 48hrs it will start to shrink and die). But its usually pretty big, like the size of the original follie. By 7dpo my follie/cycst had shrunk from 29mm to 18mm. Definitely still visible. Even an OB should see that, when any woman goes for a pelvic u/s, the first thing they note is if there is a cycst on the ovary or not. Just weird.......maybe they thought not to mention it?

Missy, your sweet, but Dr.........not! I just take really good notes when Im at the dr.'s office and research as soon as I get home to get "my own prespective". I find that these RE's have their "own" idea of whats good compared to the public in general. So, Im a book worm and try to find whats reasonable for me. I could be way off....but I do my best to understand and think outside the box, which fertility is for every woman, out side the box.

yeah FF i think got thrown by your fever (same thing happened to me 1 cycle when I was traveling and I think the hotel room I was in was too hot)....I would definitely trust the OPK more than the temping to pin down O date.
