Had my HSG testing done today, all was perfect. No issues with my tubes or uteris. The RE did this test himself and talked to me a little during the test. He told me not to worry about my FSH levels, its just a number to him. He said that it tells him how much time he has to work with, and because my other hormone levels are good (estrogen and progesterone) and Im ovulating, he is not worried at all.
The AMH blood test will be back this week and he said this will give him the whole picture as for my ovarian reserve. But today, he gave me back some hope. Today, I feel like there is still a chance. I needed this talk more than he will ever know, if even its for only a few days until my next blood tests come back, its a few more days of hope.
I go back on Wed. this week, cd9 to see how my follies are doing. After that, he will give me a plan of attack. Im excited that he feels there is a plan of attack that he can do for me. I so expected him to say, "Sorry, there is nothing I can do for you". But he said he feels very optomistic for me. Im so happy with this little, old, French Dr.
One very strange piece of info. he gave me was that, after reviewing my cycle last month, he says that the egg may of never released. WOW! He said that the egg looks like it Lutenized (msp) ? Meaning that it surged and went straight to progesterone stage. He said that the progesterone levels were good, wich is what my body is supposed to do, but that the LH was so high that my eggie over cooked and may of never of come out. Very interesting. Just when you think you know it all! Positive opks, a follie that looked like it released on the u/s, high progesterone levels, and there is still a chance that the egg never came out . Im in wonder with this whole process, but he sounds confident that this is all very easly corrected.
I will KUP with Wed. follie scan. On to the rest of my day with a little more hope than I have had in a week.

Lori, That is great news and I am glad that he feels there is a plan of attack and that it is not as hopeless as you felt it was last week. Keep us posted on your appointments and I will keep you in my T&P.

I'm so glad that you had a good appointment and he gave you hope! Interesting about the egg.....is that common I wonder? I knew you could have a surge and not ovulate, but I would have though an u/s would have caught it. Hope everything looks good on Wednesday too and your doctor has a good plan of attack! KUP!

I think it could be common when your follie is so big, like mine was. If the follie falls in the right size group of 18-25mm, than chances are that the egg gets released. Mine was on the larger range of normal at 29mm. So that is why he thinks it might of over cooked. The follie sac on the u/s showed jagged edges, indicating/implying that the egg was released, but he thinks when it gets that big, it just kind of dies at the release. Interesting.........
