After 3 weeks of being "late" my period finally decided to show up today, the day before my first day of work. I hate my body. At least I have my answer now. God knows how long my next cycle will be. I can't even use being late as a pregnancy symptom. Looks like I'll be depending solely on testing. I have no idea if I even ovulated. I'm gonna buy the best OPK I can get next month and temp regularly no matter what DH says. What is the best OPK to get ladies?

Edited to add:

It's pretty light. It's no fresh red blood. It's all old brown stuff. Even my period is screwed up. Just peachy. At least i wont have to be worrying about leaking tomorrow during my first day of work.

Updated again.. the flow is now normal for me. It's no longer light.

sorry about AF showing up after all that time!!! HUGS!!!

I like clearblue easy two line opks. they have never failed me!!! i had problems with the answer 20 dip sticks opks, as they gave me many false positives. they are very very sensitve, but they can be very confusing!! the CB digitals are great too, but they are very expensive!!!

good luck for this next cycle!!!

I'm thinking of getting the digitals. I guess we'll see how next month goes.

Thanks.

I'm so sorry. But, like you said, at least now you know. I've never used an OPK so I can't help you there.

I'm sorry AF showed up.

I get the cheapies at early-pregnancy-tests.com: Ovulation Tests (Test Strip Format)

I've never had any problems with them. I like the fact that because they are so inexpensive I can test several times a day to catch the surge and I don't feel bad about using so many.

So sorry AF is here but at least you can start fresh and really track this cycle. I just ordered the ones Krystal mentioned on early pregnancy tests. I used Answer last cycle and as you know, did not get pg so I don't think they were accurate.

Awe I am sorry AF found you. I use the cheapies alongside CBE digital OPKs. As soon as I get something that looks close to positive I start testing with the digis. Good luck to you next cycle.

Im so sorry she showed I use the CB digitals too. They are undeniable. A smiley or no smiley. On a side note, I did not O the first two months after m/c either, my opks got dark, but I dont think I ever got a true positve. This was back in April my loss, the first month definitely no O, the next month, a maybe.

I'm doing pretty good though. Now I'm just waiting for her to be done so I can see when I ovulate.

I am sorry for your evil witch coming late and confusing you!! I should be starting any day/hour now. I dread every time I go to the bathroom... don't want to see AF!!

I like the happy face digi's... can't go wrong with those! But you only get 7 so if you have long cycles, you need to be careful not to start testing too soon or you will have to buy 2 kits!

Awww...I'm so dissapointed for you. =( I've never used opks...but i really like clearblue brand as a general rule, and if I start using them, I'll def. go with clearblue. I like the idea of using the internet cheapies as a supplement!

Hey honey, it's a good thing she showed! Being nearly 3 weeks late and - hpt's isn't very settling. At least now you can start a *new* cycle and move forward. It's very likely the stress of the job and other things in your life have quiet possibly prevented the witch from starting. Our bodies do their things... like resetting every 7 years and going thru changes. It's not uncommon.

I'm sorry that things seem to be working against you, but really they could be working *with* you now you're getting ready to work this is a good thing! You'll probably feel better too getting out and about, having a schedual. There's many silver linings to this girlie, it's all in how you look at it... (EASIER SAID THAN DONE!) as much as it's frustrating that the showed, now you have an answer. THANK GOD!

I hope that you get to feeling better and tomorrow is a wonderful day!!! Just know I'm thinking about you and glad you finally have some resolution
