First of all, i'd like to say that i'm not sure if i'm TTC right now...I think i'm going do the "if it happens it happens"...I've been lurking here and thought i'd introduce myself...My name is Megan...I have 4 living children, and had my baby girl stillborn on October 14th...When I was pregnant I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer and had my thyroid removed when I was 19 weeks and 3 days pregnant...2 weeks later I found out that my baby girls heart wasn't beating and she was born a week later at 22 weeks 3 days (exactly 3 weeks after my surgery)...I miss her more than anything, and would do anything to get her back, but obviously that's not going to happen ...I still want another baby so very badly...My problem is that I still have some cancer treatment to get done...I'm not going to make a final decision till probably Jan/feb and if I get pregnant before that, it's not going to be the end of the world (words from my doctor)...I think deep down inside, I want to get pregnant before then, I think that's the only way it's going to happen...I don't want to have the radiation treatment and then have to wait, but I would do it IF I have to...So that's my story, and I hope to get to know everyone better!

Welcome here Megan. Im glad your at least going to be lurking here while you decide. Please open any kind of topic up, it does not need to be about ttc....we understand when your thinking about it, and not really decided yet. I pray you dont need radiation for your thyroid, for your health and your ttc journey. You have been through so much, and I can relate to the cancer part. Im so sorry for the loss of your beautiful little girl, and I pray that your journer here will be a very short and sweet one.

Megan, I am so sorry for your loss. The other girls have all ready said it - this is the best group of gals, even if you are not actively ttc - feel free to post, lurk and otherwise hang out with us.
You post struck a cord with me - I am waiting for the results of my thyroid biopsy as we speak. My endo told me that if it were bad, I would hear from her on Monday and good, 7-10 days (the patholgist calls them immediately on a positive for cancer). Since I didn't hear anything yesterday or today, I am hoping for the best.
I wish you a speed recovery!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the welcome...I'm on cycle day 2, it's my first cycle since having my baby...I am happy it's started, but sad at the same time.

Good luck! I really hope it's nothing...My doctor called me I think the day after my Biopsy...I was expecting him to say it wasn't cancer, and boy was I shocked when he said it was...Is your neck still sore? I had a sore neck for awhile after my biopsy.
