It's different for everyone - but for me, I temped after my losses and D&Cs and I saw that my temp would go up and down as long as I kept bleeding or spotting. The bleeding and spotting ends for me about 2 weeks after a D&C which is also when my HCG levels hit zero (and I get a negative HPT). From that day, it's "actually" CD1 for me, and then I O two to three weeks later (bbts are normal from here on out).
So, short answer, you should expect a period between 4-8 weeks from your D&C. Your "normal" cycle may start up again once your HCG hits zero (so you'll see your temps drop, then the spike in temp after O, and be able to predict your AF from your normal LP). Some people do not ovulate after a m/c, so it would be hard to predict when AF would start under these circumstances. If you're temping, you should be able to see that whether or not that happens.
HUGS!
