My name is Fay and i just had my first miscarraige last week after TTC #2 for 7 months...
I was charting, using OPK and on clomid.
I just have so many questions and conflicting feelings and thought that maybe i should reach out for support from some people who have been in my shoes.
I wanted to know what are the chances of getting pregnant right after an early loss? I am getting depressed bec. i already feel like i have no chance this month... anyone with experience on this?
thanks,
Fay

Welcome here, Im so sorry for your loss. As your questions pop into your mind, please come here and post them. There are so many thoughts that run through your mind shortly after m/c. As for getting pg right away after m/c, it does happen. Depends mostly on your circumstances though. Natural m/c v's d&c will make a huge difference as well depending on how far along you were. Charting right after will give you a better picture if you ovulate or not after m/c. Alot of us here have experienced no O after m/c for a cycle or two.
Good luck to you and I look forward to getting to know you here. I pray your stay is short and your bfp comes very quickly.

Hugs. I'm so sorry for your loss. The other ladies have given you good advice - it's different for everyone, but there are definitely people who have conceived right after a loss. The time before you O may be different than it usually is. Good luck. I look forward to getting to know you. Please let us be a shoulder to lean on whenever you need something!

Hi Fay! I am really sorry to hear of your loss!!!!! HUGS!!! You have definately come to the right place. They ladies here are awesome and if you have questions or just need a shoulder to cry on....we are here for you.
Your chances of conceiving right after a m/c are really good. As long as you are feeling up to it and you have stopped bleeding, there really is no reason to not ttc again. Good luck and I hope the next time you get a BFP it will be a sticky one!

I am very sad to have to welcome you here. Like the other ladies said, it's very possible to get pregnant again right away. Temping and charting is a great way to know when your cycle is back on track.

thank you all so much for the warm welcome!
My m/c was a chemical pg (started bleeding at 5 weeks) and i had what seemed to be a "normal" period. i am taking clomid again this time so i hope that it will increase my chances of ovulating. im also still charting and temping.
Im just praying that eventually i get to have another baby, a healthy baby.
looking forward to getting to know you guys!

With having a chemical pregnancy, your odds of conceiving again are very good. Usually the hormones dont get that high and once you have bleed for a full term, they usually hit zero pretty quickly. You will probably want to use your opks early this cycle, as you will not know when you will O like other months. Dont be surprised to see a +opk if your still bleeding though, it has happened to many of us here and is not really a surge yet. I o'd exactly cd14 of my last m/c. good luck to you honey!

Hi Fay and WELCOME!
I concieved right away after my loss at nearly 7wks, I mean RIGHT AWAY... within days of losing my babe. However I was told that I'm a medical anomoly to have done that. BUT, it is possible!
there have been plenty of women it's been successful for.

Hi .. so so sorry for your loss. I lost my 8w 5d little bean at 12 weeks pregnant. I was really hoping to TTC straight away too. I tested 2 days ago and I still have a faint positive.. not looking likely for me, maybe as my hormone levels would have been high.. but I have my fingers crossed for you!!

Fay,
I am so sorry for your loss but am glad you found us and can have the support you probably need right now. I have had two early m/c since June, the last just about 6 weeks ago. I had been told to wait out a cycle, more for psychological reasons than physical since I was so early, and was not planning on doing this, but I ended up with the flu during O time so I did skip last cycle but am planning on going full-force this cycle! I have heard of some women having successful pregnancies right after a m/c though. How far along were you? Again, I am so sorry you are going through this and I hope you can get the support you need! These ladies are wonderful!
