Not successful at all... stuck to FM diagnosis and basically told me that the treatments for lupus are pretty much the same as what they've tried (or treat) FM with. Which I know partly is a crock of **** since they use immuno-suppresants, anti-malarial drugs also. He did run some bloodwork, but I'm not positive that he's doing enough ONCE AGAIN. He's nice, I give him that, but I do think I should have gone with my gut on this one and persued a new rheumie. (I still can tho) Sure wish the bloodwork would show something conclusive, but only 50% of the time does it show lupus markers.

Back to the drawing board...

He wants me to try Savella, I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's "ok" to take during pregnancy, so at least that is something.

Well I need to get going to work!

I'm sorry you didn't get the answers you want. It's always tough when Dr's don't help us like we want them too. I would encourage you to find another Dr if you still feel like there are unanswered questions or wrong diagnoses. You deserve to get the medical care you need. HUGS!

I'm sorry Celina that your dr. isn't willing to look into this further. I think you should get a 2nd opinion. Sometimes we have to go with our gut feeling.

Celena, I know the frustration. I want your blood tests to come back good, meaning no lupus, but I understand the feeling if its there, than it can be treated. I hope you can get to the bottom of this and get some answers, quickly.

Celena,
All I can say is Doc appts can be so upsetting and frustrating. It's like spinning in circles and it really sucks. I am so sorry it didn't go better for you.
