I took the HPT (top strip in pic) first thing this morning (7.30am) - BFN, right?
Then, when I got home from work, my OPK had arrived, so I took a test, and that's the second strip in the pic. Is that showing positive? Does faint line mean about to O, or already have? Or could it mean nothing at all except my body is messed up? Argh!

It is not positive yet. The lines should be the same color or the test line be darker than the control line. As the lines are getting darker that is a good sign that you are getting closer to O'ing! Keep testing and start BD'ing

Thanks for your reply, I'm totally clueless, have never used them before!! We are DTD every other day, but it would be reassuring to know I was O'ing! Will keep testing over the weekend and see if there are any developments

I was confused about the same thing too. A faint line means no LH surge. A dark line means LH surge and time to BD like heck! lol (BD like heck anyways) lol Good luck! KUP!

Just remember that the line could become + at any time... Mine look like yours.. 12-24 hours before I get my "Surge" than that means I will O anywere from 12-24 hours AFTER the +, I always start BD 5 days before and 5 days after! Good LUCK!!! I hope you catch that eggie!!

If you have enough tests, I would start testing 2-3 times a day. You are getting close so it should come up positive soon! Good luck!

Hi girls thanks for the encouraging thoughts! I only have 10 tests (well, 9 now) but I will order more and hopefully they will arrive on Tuesday. So I will test twice a day, what time is best? I read that the LH increases throughout the day, so it's good to test early afternoon.. so should I test lunchtime and evening daily? We are BDing every other day, so hopefully one way or another we will catch the egg! I'm feeling quite positive for the first time in weeks. Thanks again girls
