Hi ladies, I have been lurking for a couple of weeks, but just wanted to introduce myself. I am Jan, I will be 36 next week. DH is 34 and we have a 7 year old son. I had my first miscarriage on 10/10/09 and as you all know, it was one of the hardest things I have ever been through. I was around 11 weeks, but the baby was measuring at least a month behind. I am on my second cycle after the m/c and I am having one of those days where I am just so frustrated. I don't want to have to track ovulation and CM and use OPK's all over again. I know a lot of you ladies have been strong enough to make it through this for much longer than I have and I thought maybe I could hang out here for information and support. It's great to meet all of you and thank you for all of your thoughts.

I am 33 and my DH is 37 and we have two boys (12 and 10) and I had my first m/c in June '09 (Father's Day). It never crossed my mind that I would have a m/c, so I was not prepared. It was devastating and I immediately wanted to ttc again to replace the loss I felt. Unfortunately my body has not cooperated with me and I am still ttc.
The first 3 cycles were very difficult, with each AF bringing back all the feelings from the m/c. Finally I got back to myself and although I get disappointed with BFN's, I am emotionally stronger now than I was.
Welcome to the forum and I hope your stay is short and you can get your BFP soon!

Hi Jan and
You've come to the right place for encouragement, support, compassion, information and so much more from all the ladies here! Out of anyone, we will understand exactly where you are coming from and can offer so much of what you need during the emotional & physical ups and downs, but when you hit those lows we will try to LIFT YOU BACK UP!!!
I'm Celena 32yr, a stones throw from 33yr bday in January, DH is 31... I have 3 children prior to marrying DH, he has 1 from prior marriage and we're TTC our first together since my getting my IUD out April 2008. 20 cycles now. My husband and I had 2 losses this summer back to back. One was of natural causes, the second due to a doctor's horrible mistake. It has been a tough road! I had my very first loss 9 years ago between my DS1 and DD, I never thought I would have another one as my midwife back then said it would more than likely never happen again.
These ladies have been a wonderful help in the past 5, 6 months... I lurked allot prior for a couple reasons, one being I lost my login info! (hahahaha!) D'oh! As you see tho, I felt so strongly and passionately about this group I'm a co-host I LOVE everyone here and all the graduates that have gone on to healthy pregnancies, even healthy babies!
I'm praying it happens for us all very soon, ESPECIALLY the ladies who've been TTC long... (and everyone TTCAL)
Again WELCOME Jan!!!
