I have been having these chest pain spasms accompanied with nausea cold sweats, scared the poop out of my husband yesterday... well it's happening today... I'm anywhere from 7-9dpo and if I go to the hospital *what IF* they want to do something involving radiation? What would you do?
I'm strongly thinking about going because this isn't normal and it is the equivelant of a severe gallbladder attack (I don't have one so that's not it) it's digestive related, not heart nor lungs.
Help? I'm leaving out there door now to run a couple errands, but I'm considering going the hospital asap.
~~~~
little update
I stopped a medication and so far no spasms, had some nausea and a headache but so far ok. I've taken it easy all day until I went to work. Now I'm home and just relaxing. Going to call monday morning tho and get into the GP I guess then go from there. There's an urgent care near my house if need be. I'm paying attention and so far it seems like it was a med my dr switched... hope that's all. Seems like since I haven't taken it at all today that was the problem, it really effected my digestive tract causing weird pains or spasms... the best thing I can explain it as is a gallbladder attack (like I said I don't have one) but that's what it was like.
Thanks for your advice! Man, I've always been a healthy, quick healing, strong lady until the past yr n a half... with the FM sudden onset. Being a human guinea pig for medicines isn't fun, I'm sure that adds to the "stuff" grr.
I would go and have it done... I would tell them that there is a possibility that you could be pregnant but still have the tests done. If something is wrong with you it could harm the baby so I would let the doctors know and go from there. Hugs hun. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
If you go to the ER they will run blood tests.... (It might not show up since you are still early, but they will do it before hand) You have to remember if they do x-rays.. They can shield you.. But also keep in mind 100's of ladies get x-rays just to find out in a few days they are pregnant... and have 100's of healthy babies!! GOOD LUCK... But I think you should go... KUP
I called the dr's office back and the triage nurse was available.... she suggested to go to the ER and follow-up with the dr following it. I'm waiting on DH to get home and then I will go tonight. Kids are home from school and the the last episode was a couple hours ago, I hope to make it thru the evening with none so I don't scare the kids. It terrified my husand yesterday so if it did him I can only imagine what it would do to the kids.
Thanks I appreciate it!
I think it's from a medicine, but I could be wrong just like the triage nurse said it might not be digestive related like I think it is... better safe than sorry. Thank you again for responding!!! I always appreciate each and evvery one of you!
I hope you are okay! I would go to the ER pronto. Sounds kind of like what my dad was going through where he was having pain in his chest and thought he might have a heart attack. They ran all sorts of tests on him, but couldn't find anything. His was digestive related and he's had to cut out certain foods. I hope it's nothing serious. I actually took some medicine just around the time I conceived that said on the bottle not to take when pregnant. It's freaky, but I'm sure it will be okay, even if you have to do an x-ray. Just tell them to SUPER shield you.
Thanks girls, I've decided to wait until tomorrow during the day to go do it... I don't want to be up until dawn there so I am going to ride it out one more night then decide what to do from there. I'm ok, no more episodes tonight... geesh, hopefully it is as simple as stopping a med! That would be too easy  LOL!
Celena all of those symptoms could be something serious (or nothing) - you shouldn't take a chance. Please get it checked out ASAP.
