I started having my m/c 5 days ago. I stopped seeing large blood clots on Thursday (but never saw anything bigger than a quarter size). Yesterday I went to the bathroom and I heard a huge something that splashed the water. I put gloves on and picked it up from the toilet. It was a clot 2 inches by half an inch big. It did not look like a simple blood tissue or placenta. It was pretty firm. I saw a yellowish line that looked like a bone. I am pretty sure that was my embryo. I got sick and now I am beating myself for flushing it . What else could it be if not my baby's body?

When I had my miscarriages I was told to look for a bigger clot that had light pink or whitish tint to it.. That was normally the baby.. It could've very well been the baby.. Don't feel bad for flushing it.. I did the same thing with mine.. I looked at it and knew what it was but couldn't bring myself to pick it out, and I just flushed it.. HUGS to you hun.. Hang in there.

That's probably what it was Natalie. I didn't even look for mine, I just flushed it down. Don't feel bad.

I didn't look for mine...but knew when I had passed it...same as you...heard a plop and a splash...I too felt bad afterwards for flushing it...but what else was I to do. I know it was just the body, and my baby is actually in heaven waiting for me to come one day.

To be honest that sounds like it could have been baby. I passed mine along with a LOT of mess (clots, blood) I tried to clear the blood etc away in the bottom of the toilet, but there was that much mess I couldn't. I did see that this particular mass was sandy coloured.. I was in that much of a state, pain and bleeding badly that I had to sort myself out - so I also ended up flushing. I felt SO guilty about it, but it's all I felt I could do at the time. I'll always regret it, but in the situation it was probably the best thing to have done. Don't feel bad.. more people end up flushing their baby than you'd realise

I only had one chance to see mine.. this last loss I had. I did see some greyish white tissue.. I knew that was my baby.. And I did the same thing I flushed the toilet. I aknowledged it.. as my baby.. but I didn't even let my self think of what I should do. I knew my baby was gone.. And my baby will forever be in my heart.. and that is where I think of my baby when I think of him/her.. (my birthday baby)

I'd have done the same thing. I don't know if you took it out what you would do with it.
