I can't take it. I caved. I was planning to hold out until Christmas, but I have been glowing all day today and grinning from ear to ear every time I look at these pics so here goes nothing I am spilling the beans. I AM PREGNANT!!!
Look at these beauties!
Okay let me start with this. First off we truly did plan to avoid this cycle, but.... I got to Thanksgiving and had huge amounts of EWCM. I mean gobs and gobs of it and if you all remember correctly my last two miscarriages I had almost non existent cm and I really think it was reflective of my bad hormones. When I saw the EWCM I couldn't resist. I mean who the heck knows when that would happen again so we went for it. I am sorry I didn't tell you girls sooner, but emotionally I just wasn't up to it. I wasn't up to hearing anyone lecture me or make me feel bad. I just wasn't up to it. I also wasn't up to posting faint bfp pics just to see them fade away before my eyes and just needed this time to myself.
Now onto the good news. 1. I got a bfp at 10dpo so this means this little bean was not a late implanter like my last ones. Late implantation is associated with a higher rate of miscarriage. 2. As you can see my lines are getting way dark! This is NOT a chemical pregnancy. I may not be out of the woods, but I am definitely not having a chemical. 3. I saw my new midwife yesterday and upped my progesterone. I really think that the progesterone I have been taking has made a huge difference. And 4. I feel like throwing up right now which is what prompted me to cave and post this.
I originally planned to wait until I was pretty sure things were okay and then I planned to wait until Christmas, but no way no how am I holding out that long. I started thinking of my sister (who is going to kill me since I haven't told even her) and her upcoming IVF and the last thing I wanted to do was tell her my good news in the middle of that stress so I figured it was time to come clean. Sissy I love you. You may just get your wish. I am due August 20. Please keep me in your prayers girlies, but I really think I got a keeper.
Oh and I have to tell you about my testing which was way weird. I took two tests at 10dpo - one was a FRER and one an EPT. There was a clear line on the EPT, but nothing and I mean nothing on the FRER so I went out and pulled out my digi because **** it I knew I saw a line and wasn't crazy. Well sure enough that digi came up positive. Now that the test has had time to sit you can kind of see something on the FRER FMU, but I am telling you there was nothing at all there when I took it. It's weird to me because FRER just don't seem to like me, but they are liking me today.

I have been in tears a lot today, but happy tears. I keep crying when I hear the Christmas music. Kary, I hope it is your turn soon sweetie. (And all the other wonderful girls here! You have been such a huge support to me.)
