Nothing pregnancy related, just a bit on my luck...

Bought a new house on Monday. This was my "thing" to help me concentrate on losing the baby and not having a period yet...you know, I'm moving in next week, by the time we get back to school I'll be in the game again...and in the meanwhile, I get to set up my new house!

So today my kids school called, Sierra was puking...I had to get her. I did and we went to the new house so i could unpack a few things while she layed down.

I went into the basement (the gorgeous finished basement with beautiful carpeting) to put some ice cube trays in the basement fridge, and THE WHOLE BASEMENT IS FLOODED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two days after closing. We have insurance but we don't have a home warranty.

Now we have no clue what to do. DH is off tomorrow so maybe he can figure it out.

Wow the flooding stinks! Any idea why it flooded? Hope your daughter feels better soon! Those tummy bugs can be rough.

Sorry you're going through this!! Not a fun way to enjoy the new house. But you've reminded me...maybe I should go down and make sure our pump is working!

Oh no that stinks.. When it rains it pours.. I am sorry that you have to go through this.. I hope that you can get it fixed and it is nothing major.. Hang in there. Hope your daughter is feeling better also..

Oh yuck!

At least it's insured.

You would think that something like this would be picked up in a home inspection unless mother nature caused it and it's a fluke. Regardless, it sucks!

that would be our luck too, especially the way things are going right now... life keeps serving up polished turds when I try to find the silver lining!
