And the bad luck continues...

So today I go to the new house (now with a torn up basement that WAS finished, a 6300 dollar bill to redo my entire sewage/drainage system in the yard, 700 for a new sump pump, and a 500 deductible to replace the entire carpet/much of the drywall downstairs...

And today they found black mold in the basement.

This is ANOTHER claim and insurance won't cover it.

THe inspector SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT THIS. This is getting ridiculous. We are going to sue him if he doesn't give us the money (over 10,000) to pay for all of this crap.

The good news is that they might be able to have all of this fixed by Saturday, our move in date. Which means I can put the furniture in the basement that I wanted to put down there. Unfortunately I can't do it this week and THIS WEEK is when I have time!!!

, sorry its been so rough for you, were in the process of buying a house ttoo and I can only imagine with my luck what's going to go wrong.

Angela I'm so sorry to hear about these misfortunes, you're darn right the inspector should have found that. Sounds like he was working for the real estate agents to get you in there and purchase it! Geeze, I'm soo sooo soooo sorry to hear about this, hope it all gets taken care of ASAP!!!
