Ok so lets go to pretendville for a second and say that I am crazy. Which we all know that I am  . What are the chances of getting a positive HPT at 12 dpo, suspecting that the spotting on Friday and Saturday may have been IB and not AF coming? This is all pretendville remember. So I am just wondering if it would be worth the test or if I should hold out until 14dpo aka Wednesday when I suspect AF to arrive? Any thought or addictions welcome .

Well, I never advocate testing before AF is due. However, I have seen many ladies get a BFP @ 12 DPO. If it was me, I would wait though.

personally i have a hard time waiting to test - and often do the 5 days before your missed aunt flow ones. It's up to you! Usually i only test early if i feel like i'm preggo - so if you've got that feeling go for it!

LOL don't ask me- I test way too early LOL....but if you decide to, good luck! I got my BFP in October at 10 DPO.

I agree with what was said; if youre not feelin' too preggo, I say don't test until AF is due... BUT if you're feeling like you should (since you posted this in and all) I say if you got a test, go for it!

I want to live in Pretendville too! I got a BFP at 10dpo once, so if you want to test than I guess test! Just use the internet cheapies until AF is due so you don't waste the good ones.

My three positives have come at 10dpo, 11dpo & 12dpo....and AF was never due until 15-17dpo....so I say test. But only because you're in Pretendville!

If AF is due at 14dpo then a FRER or Answer should be accurate at 12dpo.

Wait a second - we are in Pretendville - that means we are ALL big fat and preggo and there is no need to test!!!!
I would probably wait, but it would also depend on what my temps were doing. When I got my BFP, I told DH at 12 DPO - I KNOW I am not pregnant this month so I can take an anti-inflamatory for my foot.........
