I just had to share because I was totally freaking out about my grades for Fall Term. I was on track the first 4 weeks, then during and after my loss, it was a lot harder for me to get the motivation to go to class. There was just one class that the teacher was just a royal you-know-what. I also didn't like the class in general. Anyway when it came time for finals I emailed my teacher about possibly getting an incomplete, she responded that I needed to have 80% of the work completed. If I had 80% done then I wouldn't have needed to get an incomplete. Anyway I ended up getting a 17% yeah I'm way disappointed in that but for my other three classes I got 2 C's and 1 D which means I am still going to pass this term. Well I think I am going to, I will at least still get my financial aid. I got put on Warning Status but at least I know that I won't have this happening again. Sorry for a long post I just had to share

im in the same boat as you i lost my baby 4 days before school started i also never found the motivation to do any work but luckily 2 of my teachers were very understanding one gave me an Incomplete and has given me 2 assignments to due that will help me pass i have till jan 15th she was amazing through this whole semester and the other he was never able to have kids he never went in to it but he was completely and totally understanding and genuinely concerned for me when i missed a few days as for it math was no prob for me to pass as he gave uber amounts of extra credit so that helped the other two im not too sure if ill pass or not but im just glad this semester is over

I know what it's like to go through something traumatic like that and let it get the best of your school work. I actually ended up medically discharging myself the semester that it happened to me. And am now just getting back on track. But HUGS! And you should be proud that you stuck through the semester and passed over all. Good luck to you next semester! I'm sure it will be much better for you!

Thank you so much. I had thought about explaining to my one teacher about what the situation was but never felt up to doing it so I just left it at I had a personal emergency, but still didn't help me very much. I'm definitely looking forward to moving past this term and going into Winter Term, and hopefully with a BFP

I don't know how you even went after the loss. I worked the day after I found out about the baby...I'm a teacher and had to deal with 1st graders all day...I was an absolute robot, I don't even know what I said all week until the D&C on Saturday, or how I made it through. I don't know how you'd do college. Just keep trying, like with TTCing...they both end at some point! Hope the TTCing ends soon though!

Well I had gotten a note from my doc about taking 4 days off from work early in the day before my m/c. So I was able to take a week off from work which helped a lot. Funny thing is I didn't want to see anyone, but my friend from work went into labor and had her baby 2 days after my loss and I was the first to visit her 6 hrs after she was born. I pushed myself for the most part to do school. It was so hard for my first class after loss because it was my observation class and we were at a preschool. I bawled for 2 hrs after I left. Mainly I did my best because I didn't want to let DH down, it hurt me to see him when I would have a meltdown he felt like he wasn't able to help me.
