Test results are in!
Everything came back normal EXPECT one genetic test. I have 2 MTHFR mutations. He wants me to add folic acid, B6, and B12 a day in addition to the prenatal vitamin. Once I get pregnant, he wants to use blood thinners to help ensure that we don't m/c again.

Augie it's good to hear that you have some answers and a course of action to take! It's not exciting to find out that there's a clotting disorder (I'm sorry) but I hope it brings you new hope and some peace now during this new stretch of your TTC journey Your doctor sounds very proactive and optimistic!

I personally think that getting a bad test result is excellent. Because then they know what it is and can fix it. I am glad you have an answer. I wish I did.

I agree. It's weird to be happy to know that I have a genetics issue, but I think it's more that I'm happy we can fix this.

yay!!! I also have two MTHFR mutations on A&C. Same regiment that you are, but add baby asprin and progesterone while ttc, then injections when heartbeat is detected. my next pregnancy will be the first with the injections. I hope we both get our bfp's soon!
