I'm thinking of changing doctors because as terrific as my doctor has been in the past, he is terrible right now! Example: my sonohystogram was scheduled and no one called me to tell me when it was so I missed it and had to reschedule. I had my full panel of bloodwork done more then a month ago. Last Tuesday (12/8) he said one test from it was not back yet, but would be by the end of the week and he would call by the end of the week. It is now almost a week and a half later and no call! Yesterday I had my sonohystogram and he said he would call last night with the results...nothing. I could go on and on! I think he is getting ready to retire and he is riding the wave out!

On to my luteal phase question. I have a 28 day cycle and typically ovulate on day 20-21. I know with both of my losses I ovulated then. He has never asked me any questions about this so I brought it up yesterday. At first he said it wasn't bad but when he thought about it he said anything after day 16 is not good. I asked about B6 and he said that is for nausea and will do nothing. He said next time I get pregnant to call and he will put me on progesterone.

For those that have the same problem...is this the treatment your doctors recommended? It seems like others out there have been told different things.

I wish I had some answers for you, but in honesty I don't. I can tell you that I do know that you're Dr. shouldn't leave you hanging like that. I call and call and call until I get all the results and answers I want. I don't think your short Luteal phase can be treated with progesterone shots when you get pregnant again. If you believe that B6 will help you, then start taking it. I don't think it will do that much harm to you. But like I said, I don't know!!! I hope you get everything straightened out and if in my opinion if you'r Dr. was so great, you wouldn't have to wait for him to call and give you answers or blow off your questions.. IMO!
