I am thinking about what was wrong with me that caused my m/c. I know that m/c is a common thing but what if something was wrong with me? Then next time I could prevent it .

My LP is just 10 days. I O on day 20 or 21 of a 30-day cycle. Is that even normal? I read that normal LP usually lasts 12-14 days. Does it mean that something is wrong with my progesterone?

I have another concern about my weight. I'm 5'8'' and I weight 118 pounds. My frame structure is small but I have very heavy bones! According to a healthy weight calculator, i should weight at least from 126 lbs up to 150 lbs. I am trying to gain wait a little bit, but it is so hard . I gain 2-3 lbs and then I loose them that same day! I feel great, though! I do not feel underweight and I eat every time I'm hungry. My lactovegetarian diet doesn't help with gaining fat either. But, to be fair, I've always been skinny.

So, I have to gain fat just to make sure that my next pregnancy would be healthy. Do you think it is very important to get into "a normal weight' category before pregnancy?

Hi I do not think your loss was due to your weight! When I had my 3 boys, I weighed no more than 100lbs. I am 5'2 and have always been skinny and little. Before April my cycle has always been 21 days with a LP of 9-10. I did not have any losses until this past year but I think it has more to do with my age and egg quality now (I am almost 41 and was in my early 20's when I had the boys).

If you are concerned about your progestrone levels have your doctor test it. It is a simple blood test.

I am so sorry for your loss sweetie, I know how painful it is. ((Hugs))

Can I say enjoy being skinny now because when you hit 40 it really is harder to keep the weight off? I so used to be annoyed by my mom saying that to me thinking oh I will be thin forever... Now I am at 120lbs and cant get the weight off! I miss my skinny little body

with Missy, I don't think your weight has anything to do with it. A very good friend of mine IRL (at the time) was 37 and maybe weight 98-105lbs soaking wet she was about 5'3"ish (??) (same diet as you, perhaps even vegan as she is Hindi) she had gotten pg and carried to term. I know we're all different, but there's an example of a smallish framed person and similar dietary needs.

I think a normal range of DPO / luteal phase is from 10-14 maybe even up to 16.... I'm sure this # varies to different Dr practices.

I am so sorry for your loss! i don't think it would be caused by your weight though - there are different 'healthy' weights for each person you can't go just by BMI - if your nutrition is healthy, your ok. It could have been the egg, the sperm, your hormones - really anything. hugs!

Thank you all for your responses!!!! I was about to make myself eat more even when I do not want to at all... My nutrition is very healthy but i eat less that I should for my height.. I do hope it wasn't the reason for my m/c. My doctor said he doesn't know the reason and it seems like everything's ok with my health.

Well, all I can do is TTC again . Cannot wait!!

I am also going through this trying to find an answer thing.. so I can see where you're coming from. But, when I got pg with my son, I weighed about 110lbs max. I carried him to 42w1d, and he weighed 9lb 2oz With my last pregnancy, I weighed about 10lbs more. I lost my last baby. So no, I wouldn't say your weight has anything to do with it. I think weight only comes into it if it's VERY extreme.. like obesity or anorexia or something.. but don't quote me on that.
Fingers crossed for you
