We're not ttcing right now but I figured I would probably get the best answers from you ladies if that's ok?

Firstly we had our 3rd m/c December 3rd we were 7 weeks and 1 day. My number dropped from 1199 to 41, 4 days later. I'm suspecting they are at or very close to 0 now. With my other 2 I didn't really chart or follow my periods and such so I'm not really sure when to expect certain things. Like when should I O? DH and I have dtd a few times since the m/c, we used the pull out method for now until I get my BCP Monday. Do you O before or after your first period after a m/c? I've read you should usually expect your first period between 4-5 weeks after a m/c. So that would put me between December 30th-January 7th. Is this true?

If I don't get it by some crazy chance lol should I take an HPT or do a blood test? I don't want to take one and get a false BFP

I'm sorry I'm asking a lot of questions and that this is super long but I figured you ladies would be the most helpful with this.

Thank you!

Like when should I O? I Oed about 3 wks after my d&c.

Do you O before or after your first period after a m/c? I Oed before.

I've read you should usually expect your first period between 4-5 weeks after a m/c. So that would put me between December 30th-January 7th. Is this true? I've always heard 4-6 wks.

Here's a link to my chart right after my m/c & before my first true AF... TCOYF

Hey, Shella! I read that you can O before your first period after m/c. It's been 17 days since my m/c and I haven't O yet... still waiting for my period.

{hugs!}

Shella - great questions! I was sorta wondering the same thing. I'm glad you asked and got some answers.

I started to m/c on the 2nd-3rd of Dec, and had my D&C on the 4th. So, i'm right in the same time frame as you. I haven't had my AF yet. I *thought* I could have been ovulating earlier this week, since i was having weird cramps, mainly on my left side. Doc said it most likely wasn't ovulation, but maybe my body prepping to. Plus, my CM wasn't indicating ovulation.

Let me know when you start .... anything!! With us having our surgeries so close, it would be interesting how different/similar our bodies recover.

(((HUGS))) I'm sorry for your loss

I started to m/c on Oct 15, actually m/c'd on Oct 19th (natually) I did not O the first cycle, but it was very short, 16 day cycle but had af type bleeding for several days. On my next cycle I O'd on CD 8. If I didn;t have the bleeding in between I technically O'd 24 days after the m/c. It's very different for everyone.

Using OPK's and following your CM might help you in determining if and when you O. Did you have a blood test to confirm that your hCG levels were back to zero? If you know they went back to zero and were to take a HPT some after it should show real results whether they are BFN or BFP.

I agree. Let me know what happens with you can when you O. If we do get pregnant again, I wouldn't mind, I'm just scared to.

Lorna-I haven't had another hcg blood test yet. It went down to 41 on 7th so I'm sure by now it should be 0. My bleeding and everything has stopped (actually it stopped about a week ago).

Thanks girls so much!

My midwife had me take a blood test every 3 days until my levels were at 0. I got my first period post m/c 30 days afterwards. I started to m/c the 20th of Oct m/c naturally the 21st and got AF Nov 20th. Unsure if I O'd that cycle or this last one and just started AF yesterday to make it a 28 day cycle. I would pick up a pack of OPK's Big Lots has them really cheap so you could always give that a shot.
