I am having hard time...I have my 16 week appointment on Wednesday, and I'm nervous.
I have been having some cramps the last two days. And Friday I finished taking my Metformin...so that isn't helping. I haven't felt baby yet...I don't think...and so I'm curious...has anyone had a missed miscarriage after 13 wks. I'm just trying to prepare myself. DH isn't going to my appointment, so I'm not sure what to think.
I should also mention, I didn't get up to pee last night, and I wasn't starving this morning like I normally am. :|

It is possible Marci. But you have to stay positive. I have not been as far as you but I can tell you that I have heard lots of people talking about the fact that symptoms come and go - especially when you are out of the first trimester. Try and relax (which I know is hard) and enjoy being pregnant.
BTW I have a friend who is 24 weeks pregnant and not feeling movement. They had an ultrasound and the tech just said he is a very docile kid. He is just comfortable in is his space and doesn't move around alot. That is not neccessarily a sign of a problem.
Let us know how the appointment goes. Email me if you need to.

Marci, you might not feel baby for a while yet. Also depends on where your placenta is, if it's in the front like with my kids, you won't feel the kicks as much. HUGS I know you worry, but the symptoms get so much better in the 2nd trimester and get worse again in the 3rd, so try to not think the worst. I'm sure your u/s will go well!! Can't wait to see pics of the little one.

Thinking of you!! I can say that my symptoms with Owen came and went alot around that time frame. I didn't feel him move until 18 weeks and even then, I wasn't sure it was movement, more like little blips and flips. Is it possible to have your mom or a sibling go with you if DH can't go, just so you don't have the added worry of having nobody there with you? I am sure it will be fine, KUP! Hugs!!

Try to stay positive, I know it's hard. At 16 weeks I started have cramps and pulling. My OB said it could be one of 2 things, round ligament pains or braxton and hicks. I find all the symptoms wax and wane and I didn't feel the baby until 17 weeks and even then it was so light I didn't know for use. Now by 19 weeks I feel the movement in the there but it's only at night and it kicks into my back or down not out.
Keep us updated and email me if you need to talk.

Marci HUGS... Did you post this on the PAL board? To find out if any of the pregnant ladies have went through this with thier pregnancies? The PAL board can give you more of an insight with what to expect with Pregnancy after loss.. Since most of the Ladies on this board are still trying to get to that point. Yes we have our pregnant lurkers... But i would post this on that PAL board. I think you would get better answers. HUGS Good Luck on your Appt... Thoughts and Prayers will be with you! KUP

Sorry, I was more looking for experience as to when people experienced their losses, and if they were further on or what they experienced.

I can understand that.. But if it is normal... at this point in the pregnancy.. the PAL ladies can give you a better insight into it. All what you are feeling could be perfectly normal. I can't remember my pregnancy since the last one I delivered was 19 years ago. I would stop worring and enjoy your pregnancy. You can't stop anything from happening.. all you can do is enjoy what you have right here, right now. And keep positive.

Hi Marci,
I would go and read things about that point in pregnancy, allot of times you'll find things about how big your uterus is growing, what baby is doing and what "mom" will be feeling & going thru. It might help ease your nerves to read into something positive about your length along (or you probably already have looked huh? )
With each of my pregnancies that I delivered, I started having braxton hicks around 12-16 weeks and thru my pregnancies they became stronger as I moved along. I had an irritable uterus as my midwife would say. Those pulling, tense, tightening, crampiness is unsettling... thankfully you have your 16 weeks appointment tomorrow and could have some reassurence then. Try to write everything down that you are feeling and have questions about so that you don't forget to ask, have them check into it.
Marci, I really hope that you get all the answers and have a good appointment tomorrow please KUP!
I'm sorry that it's so scarey right now, but please try to not think about the "worst case senario" and I hope that something helps ease your worry & nervous feelings.

HUGS! I hope your appointment goes well! My missed miscarriage was at about 7 weeks. My pregnancy symptoms did not go away until after my D&C tho. I'm sorry that you are so nervous - try to relax. It's pretty common not to feel the baby's movement yet and cramping/pulling feelings are normal too. I had lots of cramping/pulling/stretching pretty much through my entire pg with my son (who is healthy) and every Sunday he decided he didn't want to move at all - scared me lots but he was ok. Again, hugs and keep us updated!

Hugs Marci! I am sorry that you are so worried, but I totally understand! After I got out of the first trimester, I got more round ligament pain and some cramping, and also went a night or two without waking up to go to the bathroom. The symptoms for the most part go away during the second trimester (and come back with a vengence in the third!) It's also early to feel the baby, although some people do feel sensations. I hate to say it, but the worry never really goes away, it just lessens a bit the further along you get (given you had an early m/c). I went in to my doctor at 17 and 27 weeks panicked because of pain and such and everything was fine. I hope you have a great appt on Wednesday. Please KUP on how it goes. If you ever need to talk, please feel free to PM me.
