So we choose 2 names for the baby we lost.
Elijah and Julianna

Now I want to choose different names
for our next baby...

Because I feel like those names were supposed to be for
the baby we lost.

But hubby disagrees..

How does everyone else feel?

We are saving our names for the next baby. Stephen Joseph or Jessica Rose. Hubby didn't want to name this one at all, so I named her Amberlynne Nevaeh. (he says it's disrespectful to not name it the name we picked) but Amberlynne Nevaeh is her own special name. Amberlynne is my favorite name ever and Nevaeh is Heaven spelled backwards...and that's where she is. Any living daughter of mine can never have that name because I wouldn't have picked it for anyone but an angel.

We wanted to name our baby Alexandra or Mark/Benjamin. I spent years on choosing them & middle names and was finally happy with the choice.

We gave this baby a different name - Esmy, which means "loved" in French and is good for F&M. I did not know his gender, so i had to choose something that would be good for both and something that would have a nice meaning. I thought about it and decided that it would work better that way. It wouldn't have felt right naming that baby Benjamin if in reality it had a girl's soul.

Alexandra or Mark/Benjamin wouldn't have worked for a F & M. My husband agrees that we should keep these names for our second baby.

i know how you feel.......my DH feels the same way about the names we picked for 2 of our losses. I'm sorry - that's a hard place to be in. I hope you guys can talk about it and maybe find the perfect new name for your (poss) pregnancy. Good luck hun! HUGS!

Those names are beautiful.. HUGS....

My dh didn't want to know what were going to have for our 2nd loss.. My first and 3third losses were natural.. so no tests were done. But for our 2nd loss they did do chromosomal tests. But I looked (I work at the hospital) And I would have had a little girl. I named her Hope. I couldn't not name her. I have called my first loss.. "My ange"l. and my third is my "Birthday baby".. Since I do not know whether they would have been m/f... So they will be forever my Angel and my Baby.

we had picked out Roxanne Nicole and Archer Scott but since i thought it was a ittle girl we used to call her roxy all the time and i cant see my self ever using that name i feel like its tainted cause i lost the baby my df still loves the name but i wont ever use it now because of loosing the baby. but i name her savvy rose after i lost her cause thats what i wanted to name her from the moment i found out i was pregggers but he said no lol he didnt like savvy i still want to use that name one day i still might cause i LOVE that name more then any other name

We didnt get to find out the sex of our baby either. So we just call that baby our Hammaher, its the nickname my 5 year old called it while I was pregnant. As for the names we had picked for that baby, we are going to use it for our next baby as well. We love those names and since we didnt know what the baby was I feel like those names werent meant for that baby. Does that make any sense?

Angelkitty...I LOVE Jessica Rose....but I might be a little bias cause thats my first and middle name. Good choice!
