Well I haven't started a period but I don't think I'm pregnant anymore. I had a BFP at 7DPO, 8DPO, and then a little darker at 10DPO. I waited until 15DPO (Christmas Eve) to take another one to see if it was darker-- it wasn't. It was about the same lightness at the 8DPO. We hadn't told anyone IRL so I wanted a darker test this morning before we told my family for Christmas and today, the line is about gone. It looks negative unless you squint at it.
I haven't started bleeding yet but I'm sure it's coming. I'm sad and confused. Pregnancy with my kids in 2000 and 2001 was effortless. I peed on a stick, it was positive, that was all the confirmation I needed and I ended up with two babies. Easy peasy.
This time, twice now, not so easy... My dh has no kids of his very own so I was so excited for him to hold a baby. AT this point I think I may want to wait until the spring and then figure things out. Who knows.
Regardless, you may see a lot of me and you may not, time will tell, but I'll let you know when my AF comes so that this pregnancy will be confirmed over.

I'm so sorry, Jessica. Please don't give up, though. Maybe if you take a break from trying so hard and just try NTNP you'll get your BFP. I wish all the best for you, and hope that you and your DH have a new little one in your arms soon.

Argh Jessica...I am not quite sure what a chemical pregnancy is...but if what you are saying is true and this all doesn't work out, I'm very sorry. You obviously have no problem GETTING pregnant...which is a positive thing. Did you tell your OB? Because with two losses in a row, they usually start testing.
Now get this...being your twin, I would normally be a little concerned about what's happening next for ME...but I'm not going to be pregnant anytime soon. This WOULD be my fertile time but now my temps are everywhere...and I told DH we need to BD just to make sure but football is so much more important he stayed up all night playing that...and this morning I was thinking if we got pregnant in the next 6 months we'd have a baby during football season and I don't want to be a single mom again...so I was SERIOUSLY THIS MORNING thinking we'd wait to TTC until spring/summer.
Now I really think it's a good idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't go disappearing on me here...promise?

I promise I won't go away, Angela!
A chemical pregnancy is basically an early miscarriage. It usually happens before you ever miss a period. It's a miscarriage before a heartbeat could ever be detected.
I will never, ever POAS until I'm late for a period again! I swear!
*sigh*

Thanks girls!
I'm so confused now. I've been using FRER's all along because I assumed those were the best. My lines went from darker to almost non-existant so I braced myself for the worst. I had one test left and I used it this afternoon at 3pm (I have used FMU all along until now) just to see if the line was gone yet and... it was darker!
The pic I'm attaching are my tests from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and this afternoon. The line went from faint to more faint to darker again. I just have no idea and I'm sick of the roller coaster.

Each pg test has a different amount of dye. I wouldn't worry as long as there is a line there. Are you going to call your doctor and get BT? Congrats on your BFP!

Oh, Jessica, I hope your have a sticky bean there, hon!!! I would call your OB and get betas drawn. Tests can vary, and I actually know a lot of women who get better results later in the day vs. FMU for some reason. Good luck and KUP!!!

Ditto what Lori said. Plus your tests look great! I have taken FRER's from the same package and tested at the same time (back in February when I was pregnant) and had different shades of lines. I can see lines in each of the tests so stay positive! Wishing you the best.

those really do look like great BFP's! It def could have just been the dye or the time of day you peed on it. They look nice and strong! Congrats! and i'm sending stick sticky vibes to you!!!!!

THose all look like BFP to me. I would go into your Dr and get it confirmed with a BT so you will feel better. As long as you have a line on a test it is a BFP. I know there are cases of false postive but I have not heard of them on FRER test. I hope this is really it for you.
