First Set of Betas in (PG mentioned)

I got my bw this morning at my RE's office at 9am. My Dr. called me at 1:30pm with my results.......got to love how much quicker they are compared to a OBGYN's office!

Im 13dpo and my HCG is 107. My progesterone is 41. I have been using a supplement since 3dpo, so anything over 20 on a supplements is great.

Now for the concerning bw. Since its an RE's office, they test for estrogen as well. Not common for healthy women to get this at a OBGYN's office, but at a RE's office they always look at this hormone. My estrogen level is only 114. They like it to be closer to 200 in early pregnancy. What this means is that it could mean that the egg I released was no good. There is nothing you can do to correct this, as this is the level of hormone a healthy egg gives off.

The Dr. seemed very optomistic. I go back on Wed for repeat bw and he is hoping that the level of estrogen will go up to the 190 or more mark. He is also testing me for antibody's as well. If there is a anti body difeciency, he will start me on Heporan right away.

The Dr. was very PLEASED that I had taken the prometrium supplements starting at 3dpo. He also asked me to start baby aspirin, but I informened him that I had started that three days ago already! He kept saying "God Bless You", "You really know your stuff young lady". Made me feel good he was ok with my own monitoring of the cycle and pregnancy so far. He said he would not of done it any different.

Please pray for me tonight, that all my levels go the way they should on Wed. Im so excited for the hcg and progesterone to be as good as they are, and can only hope that the estrogen picks up and signals a good egg. Knowing your eggs are poor quality and have searious egg issues already, is nerve racking. Im just praying that I caught a good one!

Good luck and let us know how Wednesday goes! That's cool that your OB thinks you are smart about that stuff. Mine just thinks all I need to know is "Woman have sex, get pregnant!" It's good for us that we own more than one brain cell!
