My DH and I and my son went to see if we could give our electric company half the bill since he hasn't started working yet, and we were only gone for 30 min.. Unlocked the door and walked in to find our desk torn apart and our drawers open and gone through and some boxes in my room.. They got away with my DH's playstation 2 and a controller and some games.. The police said that they had 4 other calls within the hour about break ins and they were all the same.. Little items taken and it was done quickly.. They used a screwdriver to pop the lock or something... The good thing is we are all safe nothing much was stolen.. It has just been a really rough yr for us so I hope and pray that 2010 starts off alot better..

omg, how scary! I am so sorry that happened. I hope they catch the guys soon so they'll be off the streets.

Thanks ladies... WE noticed last night that they took more then the PS2 They also took our external DVD burner and 2 of our USB 2G memory cards we were using for extra memory on our computer.. It really is sad they did it 2 days after Christmas.

Oh my gosh Lindsey thank God you and DS were safely GONE! However that isn't very settling knowing that your safe haven, your house has been intruded upon by some theiving jerkswads. That's good the cops are on top of it, are they patrolling the area to keep their eyes open for more break ins?

Oh Lindsey, how horrible! I had my house broken into about 12 years ago and I still remember the sinking, violated feeling. It wasn't even all about what they took...
And you live in such a nice area, you would never think.
