Ok, so I hadn't thought much of it, but when I was in the hospital in November, during my internal the Dr had great difficulty finding my cervix, got me to put my fits under my bum etc, still could hardly feel it.. she said I have a VERY posterior cervix.
I wanted to start temping/charting CM and cervical position, but I can't find my cervix either!! Does anyone else have this?

My doc said I have a retroverted uterus, not sure if this is the same thing. But I've had some difficulty with the trying to find out CP.

When I was in school... (doing our maternity rotation... ) We had a lady who came in.. she was only about 3 months... they had her lady on back... lift her hips in the air... they put a wedge underher hips.... and checked her service that way... she also had posterior cervix. I am not sure... if but putting a stiff pillow under your hips.. and checking... while they were doing in.. they were telling us.. you want to follow along the wall.. and "scoop" upward when you reach what feels like it starts to curve.

Not sure, but my midwife (and a couple OB/GYN's) said I have a tilted uterus... my cervix can be rather hard to reach at times. But not so sure that I have a posterior cervix, was never told that; just that my uterus is tilted.

Sounds like you have a solution to your problem... I have read if your cervix is hard to reach (and I'm not sure this would apply, but) to try to have a bowel movement prior to checking it. I cannot remember where I read that! Thought it was rather interesting tho.
