I saw this thread in another forum and thought it was a good one & another way to get to know people.....

In the past ten years i have:

- Got married
- Built a house
- Said goodbye to my paternal grandfather
- Travelled overseas to Europe/UK
- Travelled twice to Fiji
- Worked my way up to management
- Bought a new house (sold the old one)
- Lost 4 babies (early m/c)
- Had a knee reconstruction
- Had a beautiful DD
- Said goodbye to my maternal nana
- Prescribed Clomid to assist with ttc # 2
- Applied for Long Service Leave

LOL Yeah, the first time I missed the whole "we should add our info" thing... I just thought you were sharing! I can be such a ditz sometimes!

• Watched my parents divorce after 20 yrs of marriage
• Graduated from College

• Moved 4 times
• Started TTC
• Accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior
• Dx with hypothyroidism
• Welcomed my beutiful neice, Zahrea, into the world
• Been on a mission trip to Romania
• Quit my job to become a SAH, homeschooling mom
• Lost my precious angel that took Clomid & 3 years to conceive
• Been referred to an RE

At first I thought this was a list for what we did in the past year... then I realized it was 10 years! So the above is what I did in 2009... here's a little bit more from the previous years...

~ Graduated high school
~ Went to 3 different colleges because I couldn't decide
~ Lost my virginity
~ Fell in love 3 different times and am now engaged to the 3rd one!
~ Was sexually assaulted
~ Went on my first cruise
~ Went to Ireland!
~ Went on a few road trips down south!

- renovated our house (at least 50% of it)
- traveled a lot (London, Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Florida, St. Maarten)
- started golfing
- met a huge career goal
- got pregnant
- had a miscarriage
- survived the recession with our heads above water
- started 2 blogs
- met many, many new friends online.

Hmmm. what have I done?

(not in chronological order)
*lived in Virginia and Ohio
*got 2 cats
*held the same job for over 5 years. (in a job that probably has a 2-3 year life span)
*started a new job I really enjoy (and a lot less stress!)
*moved 4 times
*bought a house
*(finally) decided to start a family
*m/c our first attempt at starting that family
*become involved in the local theatre scene
*met some wonderful people/friends
*travelled to some incredible places
*lost an aunt and uncle
*lost 5 people I personally knew, in less than 1 year. (2009 sucked in that way)
*gained, lost, and regained over 30 pounds.
*spent the last 10 years with the best guy ever!

In the Last Ten Years...


-Rang in the New Year 2000 at our house with 75 friends and family
-Was the Chief of The Ambulance Squad (was my life for many years)
-Watched DH be diagnosed with Multiple Scholorosis
-Was laid off... decided to go back to school
-Moved an hour away from friends and family
-Resigned from the Squad..
-Lost my Uncle in a motocycle accident
-Lost our first German Shepherd Nala... (My first doggy love)
-Got Sage and Sabre. Our two German Shepherd.. (my 2nd and 3rd doggy loves)
-Finished Nursing School
-Passed my Boards.. I am an RN!
-Lost two babies within 3 months
-DH lost his job (still laid off)
-Lost my Grandmom
-Watched my Son Graduate High school
-Welcomed my only neice (No nephews either)
-Lost my third baby
-Was told I have MTHFR and Nodule on my lung that has to be monitored
-Have started MA to TTC
-Rang in the New Year 2010 (while working)

In the past 10 years....

(this is going to be harder than I thought)

~was working in a health, holistic & natural foods store (off/on for 11-12yrs)
~was vegetarian (& also at diff. time vegan) for many many years
~parents had moved away to another state 16hrs away
~rekindled some contact with my brother
~married, had my 3 children (w/ex) went thru 1st m/c
~went thru a very nasty, uncivil, vindictive seperation/divorce from said ex
~gotten my first speeding ticket(s) when I was 28yrs old
~had my 1st & only surgery (gallbladder)
~went cross-country several times (VA to WA, WA to VA back n forth)
~cooked in several restaurants off/on for approx 16yrs
~went thru DONA doula training workshop w/Penny Simkin; became a doula, asst births
~went back to school (college)
~met, dated, married my soulmate (had my IUD out to TTC our 1st together)
~ helped my BFF w/the loss of her fiancee` to suicide
~diagnosed with fibromyalgia
~went to several concerts (Journey, U2, Wailers, Pato Banton, & more)

I'm trying to put random things out there... neat idea!!!
