Michael and I went to the movies and saw "It's Complicated"... it was really good! Then we came home and had dinner and drinks. Then cuddled up in bed with a movie and fell asleep. It was perfect
Except for the fact that I fell down the stairs on the way out the door to go to the movies because the stairs were slippery and I wasn't paying attention. My back is pretty scraped up and bruised. But, here's to a better year in 2010!
Hope everyone had a good night!

DH and I went to a friends place and played Wii. There were 5 of us so pretty quaint but still a blast.
Then I came home and cried myself to sleep. Possibly the worst year of my life is over and that all came crashing down last night as I laid in bed hoping to fall asleep.

Jason (DH) and I went to his best friend's house and had dinner with them and their 3 kids. I played Cars with the 3 year-old boy and we made smores and then played a new game "Crap or Fact"= it was fun. Relaxing and nice to enjoy time with some friends. Of course, it made me realize how much I want to be them- they have some really cute kids! I told DH we better be a family of 3 next New Year's....and he said a family of 4 (apparently he wants twins? LOL yeah right)!!!

I cried my way to work.. pulled myself together went into work... Worked with a great goup of ladies... Had a glass of sparkiling cider.. while standing in the door way of a pt who wouldn't keep his clothes on (OH WHAT a site) Watched the ball drop... and thanked the universe that this horriable year is over... and toasted to what I hope will be a better year.

Hubby cooked steak and crab legs for dinner, then we watched Inglorious Basterds, then I went to bed. Nothing exciting.

Well I was kind of down yesterday, not sure why, maybe because it's not how 2009 was supposed to end, or how 2010 was supposed to start...My whole life has been turned upside down....Yesterday afternoon after I started to get ready to go out, I started not feeling great, and then my son said he didn't feel good...We went out for dinner and my mom stayed with the kids...We then drove to another county to a casino...We ended up just losing a bunch of money right away, so it wasn't very much fun and we left..We were home before 8:30 (We couldn't find anything else to do)...Then the neighbors were just being really loud, kept me up till 1:30...I then got woke up at 3:45 to a sick daughter, followed by a sick son...So I was downstairs from 4:45 on dealing with 2 kids taking turns throwing up....I'm tired, grumpy and depressed today..I really was hoping that the new year would start off a little better, but oh well.

I sulked my way from 2009 to 2010, last night was probably my most fertile time (think I O'ed this morning) and dh said he was tired and went to bed to sleep (of all things to do on New Years Eve ). I was, and still am really disappointed with him, I could hardly even talk to him today. Just a great way to start the new year.... miss grumpy, sexually frustrated pants here
I think I'll have a drink or two tonight, throw myself a pity party and continue to ignore dh seen as he is way more interested in football right now....

Not too much... had to drive an hr to get DH and back, we made it home around 11 in time to watch the ball drop @ midnight! Rang in the new year watching Dick Clark's rocking new years eve celebration. (not the entire thing)
No champagne toast or anything.

We had a party at our house. It was a blast. There were about 10 friends that came over and we drank and had a blast. At midnight I said some small little toast and we shot off confetti bombs. Needless to say, I'll be finding confetti until 2011!

DH and I took our DD to see The Princess and the Frog (for the 2nd time), then we went out to lunch. DH and I played Super Mario Bros on the Wii until about 11:30. I went to bed because I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore, so DH woke me up at midnight for a kiss, then I went back to sleep. Big partier!

We had a party...17 people...my DH couldn't breathe, he is apaprently allergic to SOMETHING...and he went upstairs to lay down, leaving a bunch of guests unattended...everyone got bored and kinda went home before the ball dropped, except for my family, which was good, because my kids played with their cousins...we were in bed by 12:20 =)
TONS of great food though!!!
And Lorna...did we marry the same guy? He would take football over sex ANY DAY. I sometimes wonder which team he plays on, if you know what I mean =) But seriously last night I O'd and he played Madden 2010 and came up "too tired to do anything" and I had on a red negligee and I'm like "Oh no you DI'INT..." and somehow I got my way THIS time...but if we don't get pregnant for 3 years, it's not due to infertility, I'll tell you that RIGHT NOW...it's going to be due to DH's sex drive and football season. I even told him I don't want to TTC until after football season is over and only until it starts again and he said "That's bull, I have my priorities straight!!!" He better.
I give him credit though, we did it every other day for like over a week. I did tell him the last week has been great and he reminded me that now Christmas vacation is over we will go back to being twice a monthers...I'm like uh, no...
I always marry the ones who don't want sex and date the ones who ONLY want sex.
Vent over!

Angela, wtg getting some outta dh I don't know what it is about football/sports that makes them that way. And I think we did marry the same guy , my dh is more than happy with just once or twice a month.. that has always bothered me a little and I tend to get paranoid about his lack of drive at times. I dunno, all I ask is that he is on board for just a few days a month lol (of course when af is here is he constantly asking me if she is gone yet ).

LOL yeah he always wants to when AF is here...I think that's his way of saying "Look at me, I'm a guy, I want sex!" when I really think, inside, he might be thinking "I wish *I* could start MY period like all the other women!!!"
I kid and make fun of him...but he's just a low sex drive kind of guy. I'd be really unnerved if he didn't want to cuddle like 24/7. I've never met a guy who just wants to hug and snuggle so much. And I love that! He'll even let me lay my head on his lap during football.
Which is like HUGE.
What team does your DH like? Mine likes the Detroit Lions (stop laughing) because we're from Detroit. I could see getting put off for sex if it were a GOOD team, but how pathetic must one be to get snubbed for the Lions???

Lol at your comment about getting snubbed for the Lions!!! roflmbo
He follows Minnesota (Bret Favre) and the Packers also. He's mostly into college football.. Michigan Wolverines, and I get snubbed for that team!!! Sad thing is that MI didn't even make it to a bowl game and he is more interested in watching rival teams play than bd'ing
All I can say it thank God the football season is coming to an end soon.. then it'll be basketball or something else
Boys will be boys.....

I KNOW!!! Let's scrap the lingerie and get football uniforms.
If this doesn't work, Lorna....I don't know!
So how did we get pregnant with our June 2010 angels? Seriously, we did it ONCE like days before O and he didn't even finish...and I still got pregnant. NO CLUE HOW I PULLED THAT ONE OFF!
Maybe I can get a tape recording of Bret Favre saying "Deeeee Ayyyyyyche!!!! (Whatever your DHs name is) You neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to Beeeee-Deeeee with Lorna, or I will never kick a touchdown AGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAINNNNNN!"
I was specifically instructed NOT to have a baby on Draft Day.
I hope I have an April baby just because of that. Of course, then I'd have to deliver alone =)

OMG I'm seriously beginning to think that we are sisters who married brothers. We conceived miraculously by doing it only one time that month days before O, and were due in June also.
Your right, football uniforms with subliminal message recordings from football players.. that's the secret!!! And all this time I've been wasting my effort of temping, pooping pills, sticking lotions and cups up my girly parts, fighting with my bad vices and peeing on numerous sticks ....
