Yesterday AM...OPK test...positive.

Yesterday PM...OPK test...test line ALMOST as dark as the control line.

This morning, huge temp rise.

This morning...OPK test line DARKER than the control line. ***???

I have no more cervical fluid, temps went up...I'm done ovulating. Why the two lines, still?

I talked to DH and said last night "Since I'll probably be 1 DPO tomorrow the obsessing begins...and I'm going to want to test early blah blah blah..." and he is INSISTANT that I DO NOT TEST until I miss two periods. Like in the old days. He thinks we just might have another miscarriage and he doesn't want to know. He says if I test early and we lose it, the doctor won't count it as a miscarriage.

So I told him then we find a doctor who will...and after two miscarriages, we get HELP.

I'm sure my first was just a fluke...the miscarriage, I mean, and I'll be fine...but I'm not waiting no two missed periods...laughable...so I guess if I dump the Charlie Bucket theory for some reason, you girls will know WAY before DH =)

So basically if I don't get a period until March at the end...and I were to start bleeding...and something came out that didn't look like a period...we'd just "ignore" it???????????? Or if I didn't start bleeding we'd go to the doctor for them to run tests as to why I didn't get my period?

OMG I'm so not in 1810...it's 2010...the peesticks are here, WE WILL USE THEM IF NEED BE!!!!!!!!!!!

Missing two periods...LOL...

I don't know when I'll test yet. The earliest would be 12 DPO...the latest 16 DPO...if I just get 18 high temps I would test for sure but I can't hold on that long...but if I wait for two missed periods, the rabbits better run cuz there wasn't no peeing on a stick way back when...

Oh Angela your rabbit comment made me ROFL. DH hasn't commented on when he wants me to POAS but he knows it will be right when I think because my midwife told me that I will need progesterone supplements. My dad on the other hand was like oh wouldn't it be great if you could just not know for a couple of months and then you find out and then you don't find out what you are having. These are the last biggest surprises you will get. I just wanted to say "Dad, I love you but in this day and age people can't do that. Well maybe the ignorant people who don't even know they are pregnant but I have to POAS!"

LOL, well I don't know what to say about the OPKs but I do know that if it was my DH, I would laugh in his face cause there is no way I would wait that long to test. I am lucky if I make it to actually missing a period before testing, usually the madness starts at 10 dpo and continues until AF comes. The rabbit thing cracked me up, too!

Heck yea those rabbits better run, testing that way would get you a result in just a few days, whereas waiting to miss two af's takes forever. What was he thinking saying such a thing??? But you have to admit that is was funny that he would even be thinking that way in the year 2010 lol

Why on Earth would anyone wait 2 months to test? Your DH cracks me up!! We were born in the age of technology for a reason.
