I had oral surgery right before Christmas (I was on CD6-7) and while on Amoxicillin i had great CM. I even thought i might have O'd really early. Then on CD12 I had spotting, but my CM had gone creamy/sticky after i went off of my antibiotics. Now i am on CD16...the latest i have ever O'd is CD18. I don't think i'm anywhere close to O'ing yet and of course this all happens on the cycle i decide to take a break from temping (and now my thermometer battery is dead so i can't even if i want to). Do you all think the stress of the surgery could have delayed my O?? I didn't feel stressed but maybe my body was in stress?? I don't know. I just want to O and move on already but its looking like I'm not even going to get a shot at a September baby!!

And second, i know the stress of wanting it to happen is NOT going to help. Any ideas of what i can do to keep my mind off of it?

It really could have been the oral surgery that is creating the long cycle. I think the medication you were on could easily have fooled your body into thinking it was already Oing. Then going off the medication probably confused your body.

The second question... I have no idea. I have been trying to figure that out. This waiting thing is killing me. I feel like I have become more obsessed about wanting a child. However, I have become less obsessed with my cycle! I have tried to keep occupied with scrapbooking and lately organizing (although its more like "throwing out" than "organizing"). If you find something that works let me know

I will tell you that the acupuncture I have been doing has been helping me relax.
