From what I've read, it inhibits sperm motility. I have heard of people getting pregnant when using it, though. I used Pre-Seed. It's a sperm friendly lube! I don't know if it helped or not, but I used it the cycle I got my BFP.

Most lubes inhibit the sperm, like Brooke said, and some kill the sperm. But I don't think they're guaranteed to kill them or anything. If you need lube though, I do recommend preseed- Find Pre~Seed & Pre' Lubricant in Stores Near You - Click Here I buy it from early-pregnancy-tests.com but there are some stores that sell it and other places online as well. Good luck!

Yes, it CAN be bad but don't stress about it. We use it everytime & while granted, I haven't gotten pg, it is NOT b/c of the lube... it's b/c of my O issues. The cycle we got pg I used KY & everything went perfectly. However if you want to be 100% sperm friendly it is best to use Pre-Seed. Pre-Seed Sperm-Friendly Lubricant

I had read it slows the motility of the sperm so some of them may die off before they reach their destination. But there are millions, so I am sure a few make it anyway. PreSeed is great, as the above posters said. I got pg with my son first cycle using it after 3 months TTC. It's not too expensive and comes in a non-labeled package so nobody will know

Trust me honey, if lube killed all sperm, it would be sold as a contraceptive! Which it clearly is not. As long as your dh does not have spermie issues, all should be just fine, dont worry.

This link was given to husband after his SA...
YES lubes can be toxic to male sperm.. While they will not cause 99% of sperm death.. hence being called contraceptive... But we were told not to use any over the counter lubes. When I asked about preseed.. they said that has to be shown sperm friendly. And yes you can still get pregnant.. it only takes one sperm..... I hope you caught that egg!!
