So, here is our situation. I had a d & c on December 14th. It went as well as could be expected and I had minimal bleeding and no cramping or pain afterward. My Dr. said to wait until I had one normal period then we could start trying again. So, this was the plan. I took an opk a week ago today, the 28th and it was a strong positive. So we had used condoms up to that point then until wednesday. Thursday night, new years eve, dh and i had a bit too much bubbly and wound up dtd without protection. Now I am a nervous wreck that this could result in a pg. I just really don't want an elevated chance of another mc. I was wondering if any of you girls have gotten pg after a d&c and before you had a period and what the outcomes were. Thanks ladies, I always appreciate your input!

I haven't myself but heard of many many people who have & everything was fine! Actually, I found this blog & she did the EXACT thing... got pg immediately after a D&C & she has been doing GREAT! Motherhood

We have had ladies who have gotten pregnant right after a m/c and went on to have healthy babies... and I do know a few who m/c again... Not saying it has anything to do with getting pregnant after a m/c... but it just happens.. I m/c in Nov... had on cycle concived again... and m/c... It was do to a chromosomal issue. you are at no more of increased risk... than if you waited 4 cycles.. Every time you get Pregnant.. you have a 15% chance to m/c.. EVERY woman has those %'s... So try not to worry... HUGS
