Hi ladies!
So I had mentioned a couple weeks ago I think that I found a different OB I wanted to meet with. Well, my appointment is this Wednesday. I really want to have a list of questions and concerns for him so wanted some suggestions. I am picking up copies of my labs that my other OB had drawn tomorrow so I can bring them with me. I know I am homozygous for the A1298C mutation for MTHFR but per my old OB everything else was "normal" but being a nurse I want a second opinion as well as to see it for myself. I have become a little suspicious of maybe having low progesterone as well. I had mentioned this to my old OB and he claimed that because I get my period I am fine. I have since learned that this might not be the case. My LP is only 12 days at the most, and I spot for several days before this- last cycle it started at 8 DPO! I want to start on progesterone but will meet with my new OB first, which coincidently hopefully is my O day Does anyone know what CD you need to get your progesterone checked on? I just feel like I need to be doing something, you know? I'm not a good sit-around-and-let-it-happen kind of girl. I'm quite impatient OK, well, thanks ladies! I'm planning on bringing printouts from FF on all my cycles as well. Sorry for rambling!

Good for you for being proactive and going for a second opinion. There's far too many times that bloodwork gets pushed to the side as being "close to normal" even if it is not... it's really outside of the normal range. Lord knows there's allot of ladies (and people in general) that have had this. I certainly hope the fresh set of eyes offers more insight and answers to what you're looking for. Being patient is going to be very important as it seems overall it takes time to run all these labs... but you said you're patient glad that you are!

KUP Jaque, I hope that things move along quickly and answers, insight are recieved sooner than later!

Ya for your dr. apt! Make sure to ask for a 7dpo progesterone blood work test. This will tell you wheather or not you o'd for sure and what your levels are. Im guessing anything over 10 would be great! Good luck to you!

Thanks ladies! Is it bad that I'm almost hoping I just have a low progesterone level and that something like a suppository could fix it and make me stay pregnant? I'm just one of those people that needs answers and I need to find a solution (wait, is that the same thing? Forgive me- I just got home from work and I'm exhausted!). I will let y'all know how it goes tomorrow!
Kary- Thanks, hon! I figured you were busy!
