I'm back from my appointment with my new OB and I LOVE HIM!!!!

Seriously, I gave him the copies of my labs, gave him my copies of my charts, and we just sat there and discussed things for like 20-30 minutes. He was great. He told me that the baby (81 mg) of Aspirin I started was a good idea and he doesn't think I will need the Heparin, but if anything changes then he would have no problem adding it later on. Also, he saw that my LP is a little on the short side, especially since I have been spotting for several days before hand and also after, so he gave me a prescription for Prometrium (oral progesterone). He asked if I wantd the oral or vaginal suppositories and he said it didn't matter, so we picked pills for now. Since I'm O'ing today I'm supposed to start taking the Prometrium on Friday and then take it until I get my period or test and get a BFP (which I'm praying for!). Does that sound right to everyone who takes progesterone? He said he's read up on studies on progesterone as well as my A1298C MTHFR mutation and the baby aspirin is recommended in most studies...in fact, my OB is hetero for the mutation and I'm homozygous for it, so I think that's why he might know so much, too. He just seems so knowledgeable and was quoting studies and statistics, which I loved, because he's just so involved and takes the time with his patients. I called my friend that recommended him to me and I was so excited and told her I definetly owe her one! : lol: So, yay, hopefully in two weeks I will get my BFP and it will stick! He did emphasize though there's only about a 30% chance in a perfect situation to get pregnant every month so to not lose hope. I'm just so glad to have anwers! I asked if I needed to actually get the blood draw for my progesterone and he said it won't hurt to take it anyway and with my cycle history he thinks it might be a problem so I could save myself the money (since the previous labs cost me about $500!!!). So yay! OK, I'll stop rambling now- just so excited I was right to take the aspirin- take that old OB! Oh, he also said I didnt' need to go to the high-risk OB until I'm actually pregnant- I will have to get the really detailed U/S and more frequent due to my Spina Bifida.
