It's been a while since I've been back here....probably October, when we found out were were expecting. Sadly we had a miscarriage on 12/15/09...what should have been 14 weeks for DH and I showed a 8-9 week old baby on our ultrasound, our baby had passed I was given pills to help me MC naturally and ended up being hospitalized because of losing too much blood and passing out at home.

But because I didn't have to get a D&C, our Dr told us that as soon as my bleeding stopped for good, we could TTC again. Having a miscarriage is extremely hard and my heart goes out to all who have been through one. And although we will always miss our baby, we wanted to try again because we want a family. I just had a couple questions, if anyone could help us...

How long after a MC can you ovulate? My DH and I BD on 12/27...12/29...1/3 and again on 1/6. The night of 1/3 I had gone to the restroom before anything had happened and when I wiped there was dark orangey mucousy stuff. When I wiped again it was gone but I'm skeptical as to what it was. Could it have been implantation bleeding? There was nothing after sex either. I don't want to get my hopes up in case I get let down this month, but obviously there is hope in the back of my mind. Starting 1/5 I have had lower back pain and ovary cramping....and now just back pain. Has anyone had this? What was your experience after a MC? Have any of you conceived soon after your MC?

I am so sorry for your Loss... Every body is different after a m/c... and even the same person with multiple m/c's with every one the body can be different. Some people thier bodies go right back to normal... others it takes months...

My cycles get out of wack.. i have had three m/c each time was a different cycle... and quite screwy 1) Nov 11th BFP... started to bleed 24 hours after +.... Normal cycle to follow.. concieved BFP Jan 2nd... M/C D/C on Feb 6th... AF took 35 days to show... Pain on and off for about 5 months while cycles returned to normal. Aug BFP Natural M/C in Sept... cycles Oct and Nov seemed Normal.. than put on Clomid ... curently on my second Cycle of Clomid Have any of you conceived soon after your MC? With in 2 months, 7 months, and ??? (Curenty going on month 4)

Hello & WB! I Oed after my m/c (though I DID have a D&C) about 3 wks later. No idea about the back pain, sorry! I didn't conceive soon after but there are lots & lots who have so it is possible!!! GL!!!

I went to my 11/12 week scan to find that my baby had passed at 8w5d so I can appreciate how hard that was for you, my heart goes out to you
As far as O'ing goes, I got AF 28 days after my D&C, with a surge showing on CD13.. but i doubt I O'd. I also had a surge on CD19 this cycle, along with EWCM so I think I did O this month. Both cycles, as AF was approaching I had very convincing symptoms to make me think I was pg.. I was convinced this cycle, but started spotting yesterday. I have been heartbroken both times, so I think it's just something your body does after a M/C..

Thank you all so much....I think I'm just going to stop stressing and relax. I keep telling myself "why worry about it, if I have no control other than the BD part?" Why not leave it in the hands of my Lord...his ways are best.

LOVE that philosophy but it really can be so hard to get there... it was for me, at least. I only recently got to that pt... it took Clomid to conceive our miracle baby only to sadly have a m/c & now the Clomid hasn't worked since the m/c. Anyway, I felt like the Lord really wanted me to slow down & wait on Him b/c I really think He wants to provide a miracle baby w/o MA. Anyway, long story short... we've taken a MA break... still TTC but not w/ MA. Took 4 years to get to this pt though! I wrote all about it on my blog if you wanna check it out... Galatians 4:22-23
