The best commercial EVER...

I think it was for clearblue easy digital...it was maybe a year ago...the announcer's voice said something along the lines of "The greatest piece of technology you will ever pee on."

FANTASTIC. They took it off the air because people took offense.

For anyone who has ever obsessed about POAS, this commercial made me laugh SO HARD and it was brilliance.

There was a commercial 10 years ago for the Concorde (a car). There was a family driving and this girl, about 10 years old, asked "Mommy, how did I get my name?" and the mom goes "Well, Savannah, we named you after where you were conceived."

The family continues driving while the announcer talks up the Concorde.

Then the little girl goes..."Mom, why did you name the baby "Concorde?" *pause* Then the little girl goes "EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!"

That ran ONCE. I was lucky enough to have caught it. My ex husband worked for the company that produced it at the time and 500 people called within minutes of that commercial, complaining. I told him to tell the president of the company that I have never in my life seen a commercial with so much brilliance. They may have ticked off 500 people but they made me realize that SOMEONE OUT THERE has my sense of humor!

But has anyone seen that peestick commercial?

Yes, I have seen the clearblue digi, and thought it was a great ad. I've noticed a new commercial the last few day... no where near as catchy as the old one

I loved the part where they showed 'fluid' streaming onto the test lol lol lol It was done like those juice commercials

I never saw the concord ad, but just reading your story about it made me giggle. People are just way too sensitive these day.

i remember the CBE Ad. it was kinda Space Odyssey -like, right? i remember thinking it was funny. (Even if it was before i started POAS)

As for the concorde...that's hilarious!!!

I LOVED the CBE commercial! I had no idea they took it off the air. It cracked me up every time, and I would always stop what I was doing to watch it. "The most sophisticated piece of technology that you'll ever pee on." That was just brilliant!

I never saw the Concorde one, but that's hilarious!

What about the Disney World one where there's a mom with a little girl and a baby in a stroller and a man she doesn't know... The little girl is telling the man all about Disney World and the mom says something like "We went last year." Then a little while later the little girl tells the man, "This is my little brother. Mom and Dad call him their little souvenir!"

yes, we had the cbe digi ad here in the uk, it was fab... the first time i saw it, i was like wow.... what is this gonna be?? with the voice etc lol.. then when i realised i laughed so hard!!
