might I still benefit from Prometrium? My previous doc and current (whom I like a lot better) have both spoken of Prometrium. For some reason I thought Prometrium was more for those with irregular cycles and/or shorter Luteal Phases.

Whatcha think?

Pg mentioned in my reply)

I'm on progesterone and so far it's helped us to get a sticky baby (fingers crossed) My sister used it as well - neither of us had irregular cycles and I have standard Luteal Phases - but low progesterone esp once i got preggo they wouldn't increase properly. My doctor said that progesterone helps thicken your lining and gives the egg a good place to burrow into - makes it a little easier. It also helps a pregnancy continue to develop properly. That's been my experience! You can always try it, and if it doesn't work for you try something else.

I am on it now... I have been on it the last two cycles.. after I go infor my u/s (I am on clomid)... my Dr tells me what day to start it. For me... My Dr just wants to cover all bases. since I have had three losses. I have always had a 28 day cycle... O ing around cd14...

GOOD LUCK! I hope you get your sticky bean!

Thank you Kary and Alethia.

Kary it is nice to know that the Prometrium has not messed with the regularity of your cycles. That is something else I have worried about with Prometrium. Guess it would all be worth it though if it helped me with a sticky.

Alethia, it is nice to know that Prometrium has helped you get a sticky!

So I am guessing my Dr. will help me to establish a protocol for when to start taking it (which cycle day)???
