One of the managers where I work has been married several years. Come to find out they have been TTC for over three years. She went off the pill and her cycles were very, very irregular. Everytime she would be what she assumed was late for a period, she would test and it was always BFN. Over the years they just assumed they weren't fertile and she stopped tracking her periods.

Recently family members of theirs came to visit. They were coughing and hacking all over their house. She ended up catching a nasty cold. The next week my manager ended up catching the cold from her. She told him that her illness is more than a cold. She feels really sick-- sick, run down, just awful. She made an appt for herself at her doctor's office. He was happy because he said once she finds out what's wrong with her, he'll know what's wrong with him (he was still sick).

Fast forward to her appt, they did lots of bloodwork and things. She comes home and tells him that it's not just a cold... she's pregnant! They did an u/s and not only is she pregnant, but she's 10 weeks pregnant!!! Isn't that crazy?!

They've been totally infertile for over three years and so she didn't even realize that she'd missed two periods! LOL I'm so happy for them. Thought I'd share because it's such a neat story of a couple who have struggled in their process like all of us and have gotten a neat ending.

We teased him because we told him there's no way that he's caught her "illness". LOL

That is a cool story. I wish I could just find out I was 10 weeks pregnant. That would be awesome!
